Dimension Crisis (?!) (Video Game Crossover × Fem!Magical Girl!Reader)

Chapter 113

3rd Person POV

The gang found themselves, and just as Eve expected, on an island. A beach, to be frank. The island bore a few houses, a lush jungle, and a very large volcano.

"Looks like Eve's guess was right," Ash said.

"Melo..." Meloetta said in awe at the area.

"What do you think this island is?" Goh asked.

"Dunno, but I sure didn't see a volcano THIS large before. In fact, it's gotta be the tallest," (Y/N) said while looking at the volcano.

Suddenly, they heard screaming coming from somewhere in the distance.

"Pika?" Pikachu said.

"Who's screaming...?" Eve asked.

(Y/N) looked up at the sky  to find out until she found an anamorphic dog with blue pants falling from the sky. 

"Could be him," she said before everyone moved out of the way before the dog hit the sand.

Before every was about to help him up, he got his head out of the sand himself, causing him to grow dizzy.

"Hey, uh... You okay?" (Y/N) asked.

The dog regained consciousness before turning to the others. "Huh? Who are you guys?" He asked.

"I'm (Y/N). These are my friends Meloetta, Ash, Pikachu, Goh, and Eve," the (H/C)-ette said. "Anyway, how did you end up flying down here?"

The dog scratched his head before explaining. "Alright. How do I put this? Uh... So..."

(I'm too lazy to write all of it sorry)

"Soooo, you're saying that this Cortex guy tried to control you but he still has someone you know hostage... Right?" Eve said.

"Yeah," the dog said.

"Okay. So, you don't mind some help, do you?" Ash asked.

"Really? You mean it?" The dog asked.

"Pika!" Pikachu said with a nod.

"Thanks. By the way, I'm Crash Bandicoot," the dog said.

"Well, nice to meet you, Crash. That aside, do you know where Cortex is?" Eve asked.

"If I remember correctly, it could be some really tall house with a bunch of machines and stuff," Crash said.

"And how far is it?" Goh asked.

"Hmm... Not sure," Crash said, making everyone facefault. "Anyway, let's get moving!" He then went on ahead. As the others got up, they shrugged off their confusion and shock before catching up to Crash.

As they moved throughout the island, they cam across a bunch of areas. First was through the beach to the inside of a jungle. The strange thing was, however, there were a bunch of wooden crates lying around along the way. Crash proceeded to break them, leaving the others confused.

"You break crates?" Goh asked, confused.

"Yeah. It's kind of a habit of mine," Crash replied.

"Okay... If that's your thing, then no stopping you," (Y/N) said before everyone continued onward.

As they reached the end, they went through a stone temple to move to the next part of the jungle. However, the next part was more dangerous than the previous one as rolling stones moved left and right to squish any trespassers nearby.

"Something tells me that this place is not a huge fan of visitors or tourists," Eve said.

"No kidding," Crash said.

After a while, they went to another part of the jungle. It was at a gate that took them to high platforms. However, moving through this area wasn't easy due to the spiky traps ready to strike at any given moment.

After moving through the treacherous traps, they went to another area which was back to the ground. Suddenly, a rumble was heard.

"Etta?!" Meloetta spoke, shocked.

"What was that?" Ash said.

"Whatever it is, it wasn't me!" Eve said.

Suddenly, as soon as everyone took another few steps forward, another rumble was felt. They looked behind them and saw a large boulder about to fall from a higher platform.

"Run for it!!!" (Y/N) yelled, causing everyone to start running. Then, the rock fell over, going after the gang.

"What grudge does this place have with people?!" Goh asked while running.

"How should I know?!" Crash replied.

Luckily, the chase ended once the gang went under a tunnel and the entrance blocked the boulder, giving everyone a chance to breathe for a moment.

"That was way too close..." Ash said.

"Yeah... No kidding," (Y/N) panted.

After a little break, they went out of the tunnel to keep moving. Unfortunately, to their dismay, another rumble was felt, signaling another boulder was about to crush them.

"NOT AGAIN!!" Eve screamed before every started running before the boulder rolled after them.

There were three boulders trying to roll after the gang, including the first two. After a while of the chase, the boulder traps finally stopped.

"Finally... It's over..." Eve panted.

After having a moment to breathe, they went to the ravine that went north. Their only option as to float on top of giant leaves that were floating forward and backward so that they could jump on to the next platform. Though it wouldn't be an easy breeze due to the piranhas waiting to bite on them. Of course, Eve wasn't having it as she turned to one of them with an intimidating look.

"Ah-ah! Don't! Even! Think about it!" The white dragon girl threatened the piranha, scaring it so much that it would never dare to close its mouth near Eve.

After they went through the river, then went inside a hut somewhere and found a man holding a staff sleeping on his throne.

"Is he asleep?" Crash asked.

"Pika..." Pikachu said.

"Let me wake him up," (Y/N) said. "Uh, excuse me, sir! We wanna ask you something."

Then, at the sound of the (H/C)-ette's voice, the man woke up.

"You! You dare trespass to these grounds?!" He said.

"Look! We're really sorry, but we just want to ask you something. That's all," Eve pleaded her and others' case.

"No excuses! No doubt you all are thieves! I, Papu Papu, shall make you regret coming here!" The man said as he got up.

Papu Papu was about to slam his staff to the ground, making the others move out of the way. He then began to move his staff in a circle for a bit. Crash saw this as his chance to counter by jumping on Papu Papu's back. This made Papu Papu angrier and slam his staff to the ground before spinning in a faster circle. Everyone else followed suit of Crash's strategy and began to hit where Papu Papu was open until he was finally defeated.

"Man... Now, I feel bad," Goh said.

"Melo..." Meloetta said.

"Don't we all? Anyway, let's keep looking for Crash's friend! I just hope she's okay," (Y/N) said.
