3rd Person POV
Everyone returned to Traverse Town to give another navigation gummi to Cid. Once they gave it to him, Sora was feeling down in the dumps.

"Sora!" Donald said.

"Are you okay?" Eve asked worriedly.

"Now, just remember what Donald said to ya: no frowning, no said faces," Goofy said.

"How can you be so cheerful? There's still no sign of your king," Sora said. "Aren't you worried?"

"Aw, phooey," Donald said.

"The king told us to go out and find the key bearers, and we found you. So as long as we stick together, it'll all work okay," Goofy said. "Ya just gotta believe in yourself, that's all."

"Just believe..." Sora said.

He then heard a voice in his head. "I believe in you," it said.

Then, as he closed his eyes, Sora saw himself being transported to a bright light in the distance. As soon as the light vanished, a room appeared before his eyes. Then, a little girl who resembled Kairi ran up to her grandmother.

"Where am I?" Sora mumbled.

"Long ago, people lived in peace, bathed in the warmth of light," Kairi's grandmother said to her granddaughter. "Everyone loved the light. Then, people began to fight over it. They wanted to keep it for themselves. And darkness was born in their hearts. The darkness spread, swallowing the light and many people's hearts. It covered everything, and the world disappeared. But small fragments of light survived in the hearts of children. With these fragments of light, children rebuilt the lost world. It's the world we live in now. But true light sleeps, deep within the darkness. That's why the world are still scattered, divided from each other. But someday, a door to the innermost darkness will open. And the true light will return. So, listen, child. Even in the deepest darkness, there will always be a light to guide you. Believe in the light. And the darkness will never defeat you. Your heart will shine with its power and push the darkness away. Do you understand, Kairi?"

"Kairi?!" Sora said. He tried reaching for the girl, but she suddenly disappeared before a bright light flashed, taking Sora back to reality.

"Sora, are you okay?" (Y/N) asked.

"What's the matter?" Goofy asked.

"Um, nothing," Sora said. "Kairi... Did you call me?" He then mumbled.

Then, footsteps were heard. Everyone turned around and saw Cid.

"I installed that navigation gummi," Cid said. "But, ya know? That place is crawling with Heartless. Don't say I didn't warn you." This left Sora a bit confused.

"Here. Take this along," Cid said as he handed something to Sora.

"Well, whatever that world is, we should keep our guard up in there," (Y/N) said, making the others nod.

*timeskip*

The new world they arrived in was a canyon with a tall castle standing in the distance.

"So, this is the place, right?" Eve said.

"Gawrsh, look at that!" Goofy said as he pointed at something in the distance.

"I know this place..." Sora said.

"You actually know this place, Sora?!" Eve said, surprised.

"Hmm, that's strange," Goofy said.

"I wonder why... I feel this warmth inside, right here," Sora said.

"Aw, you're just hungry," Donald said.

(Y/N) looked at him with a sweatdrop. "Really...?" She said.

"Hey, I'm serious!" Sora said.
