Chapter 59

(Y/N) found herself in a different location. It was an aquatic park near a beach. On the park's seaside, there were strange looking bubbles floating in the air that could produce a cold splash despite getting warmth from the sun. There was also a submarine cave with a huge stream of water coming from it. The Nightopians from earlier were seen doing their usual things while holding brooms.

"What is going on here...?" (Y/N) said to herself.  "Other than that, where are NiGHTS and Claris?"

"Hey. What are you doing here?" A male voice said. (Y/N) turned around and saw a blue-haired boy speaking to her.

"You feeling okay?" He asked the (H/C)-ette.

"Yeah. I'm fine," (Y/N) said. "Oh, yeah. Have you seen two people? Y'know..." She then began to describe Claris and NiGHTS.

Elliot shook his head. "No. I haven't seen anyone like that. Sorry," he said.

"I see..." (Y/N) said. Then, the Nightmarens swooped in and snatched away a different Ideya from the two.

"Ugh... again?" (Y/N) said.

Then, a familiar voice called out to them. "Hey!! You two!" It said. They turned and saw NiGHTS trapped in another Ideya Palace. They went up to them.

"NiGHTS? How did you get here?" (Y/N) asked.

"What do you think? For everytime there's Nightmarens roaming around, I end up in the Ideya Palace in places like these," NiGHTS said. They then looked at Elliot standing next to her. "And this fellow is...?"

"... Elliot," Elliot answered.

"Pleasure to meet you, Elliot," NiGHTS said. They then took each of the two hands. "Now, time to dualize!"

(Y/N) and Elliot then fused into NiGHTS, breaking NiGHTS free of the Ideya Palace and continued flying throughout the area to take bakc the Ideya's.

"So, NiGHTS..." (Y/N) said.

"What is it?" NiGHTS asked.

"About this 'Ideya saving' thing..." (Y/N) said.

"Oh, of course. Let me explain," NiGHTS said. "The reason why the Nightmarens took away your Ideya is because of Wizeman. Wizeman sent out the Nightmarens to take the Ideya for two reasons: to destroy Nightopia and take over the waking world, which is your world."

"Seriously? That's messed up!" Elliot said.

"That's true, but if it's could dualize with visitors like you, taking out the Nightmarens would be a piece of cake," NiGHTS said as they brought an Ideya back to the Ideya Palace.

"Wait. Us? How come?" Elliot asked.

"Well, the Nightmarens can take your Ideya, but there's one Ideya they couldn't take from you. The Red Ideya of Courage," NiGHTS explained. "It's the most powerful Ideya a visitor has on them, but only a high-class Nightmaren could take it away."

"Woah..." (Y/N) said. "So, we're just gonna have to watch our backs, then?"

"Seems like it," NiGHTS said. They then placed the last Ideya in the Ideya Palace. Then, NiGHTS was shifted to the inside of a house, and another stronger Nightmaren appeared. This time, it was a blonde-haired woman with a beach ball for a body wearing a pink rabbit masquerade mask and a pink bunny outfit.

"I'll admit. I'm quite surprised to see you, Puffy," NiGHTS said.

"Puffy? Is that really her name?" Elliot asked.

"Yeah. Kinda funny, considering her body and all," NiGHTS joked.

Then, Puffy started talking in a language that neither Elliot nor (Y/N) could understand.

"NiGHTS. Can you translate that, please?" (Y/N) said.

"She's saying, 'I'll hug you with my body.' In fact, we don't need a hug. We could just knock her back!" NiGHTS said.

NiGHTS began to zoom at Puffy to initiate their first strike, but due to Puffy's strong body, it dealt no damage. Puffy laughed at NiGHTS' attempt.

"It didn't work?" (Y/N) said.

"NiGHTS! What do we do?" Elliot asked.

"If dashing doesn't do the trick," NiGHTS said before flying at Puffy. They then grabbed her by the beach ball body. "Then, we'll just have to toss her!" NiGHTS then threw her at a wall, breaking it and causing her to bounce off the walls in the second room.

NiGHTS continued to grab and throw Puffy at every, causing each wall to break down. Then, they noticed a shelf in the distance, and annidea popped.

"Almost there...!" NiGHTS said.

They then threw her under a shelf, causing the support to break. The entire shelf began to tumble and crumble on top of her, crushing her and spelling her defeat.

Then, (Y/N) felt herself drifting away from NiGHTS and Elliot just like she did before.

"Again...? What's going on....?" (Y/N) said.
