Chapter 122

The gang made it to Bubblegoop Swamp. There was something that was shaped like a crocodile while the goopy water bubbled from below the branches. And let's not forget the smell emerging from it.

"Ugh... I knew it!" (Y/N) said, displeased by the awful scent of the swamp.

"It smells so bad!" Eve said while pinching her nose.

"Etta..." Meloetta said in disgust.

"Quit your complaining! At least try not to fall in the goop. Otherwise, you're really gonna need more than an hour-long bath," Kazooie said.

"Alright. Let's keep moving!" Banjo said.

Everyone then began to walk among the tree branches to try avoiding the goopy swamp. Alon the way, Banjo and Kazooie learned a new move from Bottles. While looking around, they were able to rescue a yellow Jinjo somewhere. 

Suddenly they came across a pad on the ground with a Jiggy carved on it. As soon as Banjo ground pounded it, they were met with a timed challenge. The challenge being that they had to shoot blue eggs inside three golden crocodiles before they reach the Jiggy. Lucky for them, they were able to complete it with just one try, which earned them the Jiggy. Meanwhile, (Y/N) and others were able to rescue a green Jinjo.

The gang then traveled west to continue their search until they found a giant egg lying in the middle.

"What's this egg doing here?" (Y/N) asked.

"Dunno. I bet it's just some dumb decoration or something," Kazooie said.

Eve went up to the egg to investigate. She then knocked on the egg twice, expecting it to hatch. Nothing. Not a single shake or cracked formed from the egg.

"Nothing," she said.

"Maybe it just needs more time?" Banjo wondered.

"Ah, who cares? Just break it," Kazooie said.

"Huh? But--" Eve said before being cut off by the red bird.

"Do it, dragon girl!" Kazooie said.

Eve sighed before turning to the egg. 'I am going to regret this one day...' She thought. She then punched the egg, breaking it completely and revealing another egg underneath. Much to everyone's confusion.

"Etta...?" Meloetta said.

"That's it...?" Eve asked.

"Punch it again," Kazooie said.

Eve punched the egg, breaking it and revealing yet another egg. Eve kept throwing punches at the egg which revealed more eggs underneath. Finally, after a while, the final egg was destroyed, revealing a Jiggy.

"Finally..." Eve said, tired, before reverting to her chibi dragon form. 

Banjo went and grabbed the Jiggy. "Alright. Let's keep moving," he said.

Everyone then kept moving around Bubblegoop Swamp to search for the Jinjos and Jiggies so that they can save Tootie. They then stopped at a spot where there a bunch of tree stumps. Suddenly, frogs with patterns of a bee emerged from inside the stumps. 

"Urrr... Trespassers! They're after our gold, but they'll never beat us all!" One of the frogs said.

"Is that so? Well, then, bring it on!" (Y/N) said as she summoned her staff.

The toads then began to charge at the gang to begin their onslaught. However, even with all their strength, they were no match for (Y/N) and co.

"Blub... You're too tough for us Flibbits. Take our gold!" One of the Flibbits said in defeat as they gave the gang the Jiggy they had.
