Chapter 95

3rd Person POV
As everyone moved out of the toy box, they found themselves in a colorful world filled with toy blocks and such.

"Wow. This place looks pretty cute," (Y/N) said.

"It's like we're right inside the toy box," Mario said.

"Yeah. I mean, that's where the Shy Guys went into, right?" Eve said.

"True, but it's best to keep our guard up. The Shy Guys might be brewing up some trouble for us," Bow said.

As everyone explored the colorful area by foot and train, they were being attacked by many kinds of Shy Guys, but they were prepared nonetheless.

Suddenly, they see a black Shy Guy guarding a chest.

"Hey, that's an Anti Guy," Goombario said. "He may be a guard, but he looks totally weak. Well, maybe..."

"Really now?" Bombette said before looking at the Anti Guy.

"Hm? What do you want? Get away from the Treasure Chest, pal!" The Anti Guy said. "It's mine, see? Don't mess with me!♡"

"Okay, alright. We won't bother you again," (Y/N) said.

"Good♡," the Anti Guy said as the heroes began moving forward.

As the gang progressed, they were still prepared for any ambushes made by the Shy Guys. Then, they saw some drawings on the walls.

"Hey, check out the doodles!" Kooper said.

"I'll admit, they look kinda cute," Parakarry said.

"Yeah. The Shy Guys must be pretty good artists," Mario said.

The gang then noticed a mushroom and a treasure chest right next to it. After Mario picked up the Mushroom, everyone then went to the treasure chest. They opened it and found a key.

"A key? This could be useful," Eve said.

The gang picked up the key and went back to the train to reach the blue station. After reaching their destination, they saw a fat Shy Guy blocking the path.

"Everybody calls me Gourmet Guy. I don't know why. I'm just an ordinary, food-loving Shy Guy," the Shy Guy said. "Sigh... I'm hungry."

The gang then looked at each other and began to whisper.

"We need to give him something to try and move him out of the way," Mario said.

"How about cake? Everyone loves cake," Bow suggested.

"But none of us have any of it. Is there anyone that can make a cake

"Hmm... I think I know one,"(Y/N) said.

*timeskip*

The gang returned to Toad Town to get some help from a particular Toad to make a cake for Gourmet Guy.

"Mama Toad! It's us!" Mario said.

"Oh... hello there, hon," the Toad said. "Thank you for coming to visit, but I'm afraid I can't cook now. I'm so sorry. My dear old Frying Pan was stolen by a Shy Guy. It really burns me up..."

"'Frying Pan?' You mean this?" (Y/N) said as she handed Mama Toad the frying pan she was looking for.

"Oh! My dear, dear Frying Pan!♡ You saved it from the Shy Guys! Thank you so much!♡" Mama Toad said. "For that, I'm going to make you something extra-special!♡

She then went to the kitchen and began to cook. Or, moreover, bake. Once she was done, she gave Mario some cake.

"Thanks, Mama Toad," (Y/N) said.
