Peter walked through the halls to find Y/n. He expected to hear her throwing stuff around in her room and packing her bag almost in an aggressive way. She didn't want to leave. Peter thought that it wasn't just because she thought this place was safer. She's also used to this place now. Peter knows very well what goes on in her head. Tony was making her, she didn't have a choice right now. And it might be better. Peter has been listening to her heartbeat and her lungs if he could; Y/n is not doing well and it breaks his heart to see her in pain like this. She has no other option but to go along with her father. But the strange thing was, he hadn't heard anything at all. "Y/n, baby, are you okay?" He stepped into her room but didn't see her or any bags. Of course, there wouldn't be bags, he's prepared to pack some clothes for her if he had to but Y/n wasn't in the room at all. Peter frowned when he didn't find his girlfriend in there. "Y/n, you in the bathroom?" He called out but still no response. The door was open so he peeked inside but no Y/n. She was probably out in the little garden. She liked to be there, it helped her calm her mind and think. Without Tony noticing him on the other end of the hallway, he made his way over to the little space outside hoping he would find her there. With that many windows, he didn't have to go in to see that Y/n wasn't there either. If she wasn't here, and she was not in her room, where could she be? Tony's gonna kill him if Y/n slips away without them noticing. Peter grabbed his phone and pressed on her contact. "Sorry, this number is not in service at this time, please try again later." Peter groaned. "Friday, are you there?" He called out to the AI. He could only hope that Tony couldn't hear her as well. "Yes, Peter." The AI replied. "Great. Friday, where is Y/n? Did she go out? Mister Stark wants to take her home but we can't find her." Peter kept glancing down the hallway to check if Tony was on his way or not.
"Miss Stark is no longer in the building. Should I notify Mister Stark for you?" The AI asked him politely as always. "I don't- why would you notify Mister Stark?" Peter started to feel a little bit worried. "Would you like to see the security camera footage right before Miss Stark left the building?" A hologram appeared right in front of him as soon as he told her yes. He could see Y/n sitting on the little bench outside looking very frustrated. He hated seeing her like that, especially when he was unable to comfort her. Just by looking at her right now, Peter could feel his gut twisting because he couldn't be there with her and wrap a comforting arm around her. As Peter took a closer look at the footage, he spotted someone else there with her. That person revealed himself. Peter almost fainted when he saw Adrian Toomes himself stepping out of the shadows. Y/n looked scared. Peter saw how she tried to open the door with her hand behind her back but was unsuccessful. "Mister Stark? Mister Stark!" Peter started screaming for Tony to get to him as quickly as possible. "What? What? Why are you yelling?" Tony asked the boy when he finally reached him. "Friday, please rewind the footage." Tony watched silently on the hologram how his daughter was taken by Adrian Toomes. His wings carry them into the sky and disappear out of sight of the security cameras. "Almost an hour ago. Friday, why didn't you tell us this was happening?!" Peter shouted. Y/n could be anywhere by now. Toomes could have already killed her if he wanted to. "My alarm systems were somehow turned off. I was unable to contact anyone. Do you want me to call the authorities?" Tony placed his hand over his forehead. "No, no, we'll handle it. Parker, with me."
"So, I'm guessing this is your master plan, right? Kidnap me, torturing me until I give you all my codes and passwords, until I plead for you to stop." Y/n gave the man a stern look, "It's not happening." She would rather die than help that man. The pain in her chest was telling her that shouldn't be too long now anyway. Toomes had taken her to his brand-new hideout. From the pictures and the location, she could tell that it was almost the same as his old one. No one would've expected him to move in next door, that would have been too easy. Toomes chuckled after hearing what she'd just said. "Not exactly. I know everything about that new system of yours. Works perfectly. Impossible to crack by anyone but you. That's why I need you, sweetheart." He smiled at her almost with real kindness. Y/n still felt that little boost in her ego, though, when Toomes said he couldn't crack her system. Feels good when something you've designed is working perfectly. "See, you want something from me. What are you going to do now?" Toomes shrugged slightly and looked at her whilst leaning against his desk. His hide-out looked almost identical to his last one. She saw the pictures. It is a little sad, to be honest. "I'm going to stand here and wait until you crack, that's all. I don't need to touch a hair on your head." He sounded so confident. His arms were crossed in front of his chest as well. Y/n had spotted the wings far behind him; it looked like they were charging. "Why would I tell you if you're going to use it for something bad?" She asked him. "Well, isn't that what you did too?" Toomes cut in. Y/n sat there quietly. Toomes was only released weeks ago, he doesn't know about Tony or the other things that happened. Right? "That's what you Starks do. Your father created weapons, he brought those aliens to New York and almost killed all of us, you fly around in a suit that shoots grenades, not to mention that little bracelet you used on me a couple of years ago. Yes, I remember that." Y/n lifted her chin. "Wouldn't have had to use it if you didn't attack me and my boyfriend. And I haven't used that suit in more than a year now." But then again what does he know? He was the one that's been locked away in prison. She shouldn't be listening to him at all. "Did you really think that standing there and staring at me was going to make me crack and spill all of my secrets?" Natasha did intense training sessions with her to strengthen her mind. No one was able to crack a widow, and no one could crack her anymore either. Tony wasn't happy about that training but it has shown to be useful and he never showed any regrets. Steve had a part in it as well, he taught her some tricks he used in the war to keep himself sane. Toomes would have to put in a lot of effort to crack her. "My point is, sweetheart, that you're dangerous just like your father was but, I will admit, you've got brains. I want to reprogram your systems but I will need to access their code. I want them and you're going to give them to me eventually."
