May crossed her arms over her chest, looking at Peter's empty bedroom. She could've sworn that boy was in there earlier. Calling his name was no use, he wasn't here. Usually, he says something before he leaves. Something was gnawing at her, although she couldn't give a clear explanation for it. May still hadn't gotten used to her nephew's secret identity. Eleven pm, that boy must be out already on superhero business. His bedroom seemed to be empty almost every single night. May sighed and shut his bedroom door. She checked for a note on the fridge or somewhere on the counter, but no, Peter left nothing. He must have been in a hurry then.

"You're back." Peter spun around when he heard her voice. She didn't look any different from the last time he had seen her, including the smirk she had on her lips. "I am," Peter replied. Black Cat jumped up and almost immediately placed her hands on his chest. Peter tried to back away, but she kept the gap between them as small as she could. "Did you miss me?" Peter could only swallow loudly, which she heard, causing her grin to grow even wider. "You're such a sweetie." Even if she couldn't see his face, she imagined how stunned he must look under it right now. "Do you want to get out of here and cause some trouble?" She questioned. Peter finally managed to create a distance between them. "Trouble? No, no... I'm not that kind of guy." Black Cat smiled at him and touched his chest again with a single finger, poking him a little harder than he thought she would. "No, I know," She said, "But you could be." Peter did not like that look on her face. Black Cat clearly isn't a new superhero; she only wants to cause trouble. That can't be good. "You know, it's very hard to tell if you're frowning at me or not. I can't see if you're smiling. Are you smiling?" An image of Y/n shot through his mind, she would have said exactly something like that. Black Cat tried to sneak her hands behind the boy's mask again. Peter grabbed her hands before she could do anything. This was the second time she tried to take it off. "You're really serious about having that thing on, don't you?" Peter glared at her, though she couldn't see his eyes. "I am. Otherwise, it would defeat the purpose of the whole secret identity." She started pouting at him. "That's such a shame." Her frown then flipped and turned into a smile. "I bet you're really cute under there. Oh, won't you make a little exception for me?" Peter took another step back, but she wouldn't allow them to get too far apart.

Black Cat crossed her arms over her chest when she realized Peter kept backing away from her. She was actually a little offended. "Let me guess, you only allow Stark to see you without your mask." God, she sounded jealous. She was nothing to him, not a girlfriend, not even his ex-girlfriend. Why was she talking like that? "Has she seen you without your mask, bug boy?" Black Cat suddenly sounded a lot less jealous, more teasing. What should he even say to that? The truth? "She might have." He answered, "What is it to you?" The woman shrugged. "Not much. I just want to know how many people have seen your face the moment I convince you to take that mask off." Why was she so determined to get his mask off? "Why do you want to see my face so badly? You haven't taken your mask off either." Black Cat pointed at him. "Very true, yes, but you haven't asked me. I am willing to do a lot of things, bug boy, if you asked me real nicely." Oh, there it was again. He just needs to ask her something very nicely, and she'll do anything he wants, with a little twist, of course. "If I asked you to take off your mask, you'd do it?" He questioned. "I might... depending on how you ask me." She smiled. Peter groaned; he really tried to hide it, but couldn't. "I'm sorry, I really don't have time for this. Or the patience." Peter promised himself he would try his absolute best to make a good impression on Tony by being the absolute best version of himself and be that friendly-neighborhood Spider-Man again. All to make a good impression on him. He doesn't have time to stand around and chat with this mysterious woman. Peter can't trust her, and he won't waste time. Peter walked toward the end of the building, shot his web, and swung away.
