A/n: I was a little later today, I know. I had to rush the chapter. I saw Thunderbolts today and omg! So it took a little longer, and the chapter is not as long as I wanted it to be, sadly. But I saw Thunderbolts, so it's okay! Hope you enjoy!

Tony forced his lips together and tried so hard not to say anything he might regret later. Oh, but that was so much harder than he had ever imagined. Take in a deep breath, think about it, and exhale. His daughter continued to look at him with her big, pleading, sad eyes. "Sweetheart, I don't think that's such a good idea. You should be resting." Was all he managed to get out. Which was true. Only Y/n did not agree with it. "Dad, I'm fine." She assured him. Harley was in the back of the room, hoping that Tony paid little to no attention to him. He was rather good at that, disappearing. He watched from a small distance as Tony shook his head and tried to come up with the best response he could that wouldn't upset her. "I don't want you to get overwhelmed," Tony said. This made Y/n groan and turn her head. She had lain back down before Tony could see her like this. Harley really did not tell on her, which she appreciated. "Bruce and Strange want to fix you, but they can't do that if your condition worsens." She knew that, too. Y/n wanted answers. She wanted her boyfriend here. Hopefully, her face wasn't giving away how angry she was at him right now. "They both warned us about that. You know we can't risk anything right now, honey." He continued. Was that a good excuse as to why Peter hadn't shown his face in the last days, almost a week now? Was it? He didn't like lying to Y/n. He does not want her to worry or start to fight him. For now, she needs to do exactly as he says if she wants to get better. If Bruce says she should stay down, she will stay put. If Strange says we shouldn't overwhelm her, then that won't happen.

"Is that why he hasn't come? At all?" Y/n's eyes turned even sadder. Tony's jaw tightened as he looked at her. One of his weak spots. The one he really wished he hadn't gotten, because Y/n knew exactly what she was doing (and learned Morgan to do the same so they could team up). "No, no, baby." Tony quickly said to her. He brushed his hand over her hair, which had become a bit greasy by now. Pepper said she would wash it tonight or tomorrow. Y/n was clearly not bothered by it in the slightest. She just wanted Peter to come over. "Kid's just busy," Tony told her. A long silence followed. Harley suddenly felt the need to cough, but held it in the best he could just to not make it awkward or disturb their moment. Hardest thing he might ever have to do. "But you really miss him... don't you? You want to see him. I get it." She nodded her heavy head and put up a little pout, which might have been genuine. Despite all this, she still missed her boyfriend. She didn't just want him to come over to shout at him. "Can you ask him to come? Please? I really want to see him. Please, Dad." She said to him. Y/n saw Harley and Bucky more than she saw Peter, who would have thought? He's still her sweet boyfriend. Perhaps he could explain what happened in that photo. Maybe it wasn't even real. Maybe someone just made an edit or something like that, and it wasn't even meant to be seen by her. "It's been days, Dad.... I wanna see him." Y/ whispered to him, secretly hoping that the sadness would win him over. Tony was having an inner conflict, and she could see it. Something was up with all of this anyway. Why did she have to go to Tony to ask her boyfriend to come over?

Harley hadn't spilled any secrets to her, which actually made her a little angry with him, too. What was it nowadays with Y/n and being angry with everyone around her? Y/n and her little superheroes.... "I'll give him a call. Okay?" Tony said to her. Y/n's lips curled into a smile. "Really?" Tony nodded and kissed her forehead. "I'll give him a call and make you a little something to eat. How does that sound?" Y/n smiled sweetly at her father. Tony turned on the back of his heels to leave when he spotted Harley. "Keep an eye on her?" He said. Harley barely looked up at the man as he walked out of the room to leave. "Yes, sir." He said.
As soon as Tony was gone and the door was shut behind him again, Harley looked up at Y/n. He saw how her smile dropped and turned into a serious glare. "You're really evil sometimes." He said. "I'm not evil. I'm angry. And I know how to pull my dad's strings." She places both of her hands over her stomach and looks up at the ceiling again. She didn't want to admit it, but she was in a lot of pain. It seemed to be getting worse. Bruce and Strange already knew, and Natasha, who had come in briefly to check on her. Clearly, no one has told Tony about it. He would have never allowed Peter to come over if he knew. He would be worried out of his mind, that's what would happen. "He's got a storm coming, Lee. I'm not gonna let it slide this time." Thinking back to it, she doesn't even know why or how she let the MJ thing go by and pretended as if nothing happened. Y/n is not a jealous type. She's not going to rip someone's face off just because they're looking or talking to her boyfriend. But then Liz happened, too, and MJ came around again; now, this?
