Dumiretso siya sa opisina to check for Mother Superior. Yes, she is currently at her charity house. She has been part of this one since she finished college. The charity institution houses 30 children and some of them has terminal illness, to be exact there are three of them. The three child was diagnosed to have cancer of the blood. They are currently under chemotherapy. She was so devastated upon learning their illnesses and promise to herself to help them in their recovery. "Good morning, Mother...!" Maine said as she spied the Head Nun reading something on her hand. "Ohhh... Good Morning, my child... You are too early for a visit, is there a problem?" The Head Nun asked her. "The annoying kid is at the office, Mother. I don't want to drain myself fighting him and got affected. Anyways, Mother, how's Sammy, Cole and Tom's therapy?" She asked gently... "They are currently on a happy mood despite being injected again. They were cooperative enough and they don't shout much. They are learning as well to contain the pain!" The Head Nun said. "Hay, kawawa naman po sila kasi ang babata pa nila, ganyan na sakit nila. I am praying and hoping that they may survive this trials!" Maine said. "God will heal them...!" Mother Superior said. "I know, Mother... God will always provide. Pray for me, Mother... I will go again in the battlefield to ease some stress in me. Pray for me for guidance!" Maine said. "Yes, Child! We will be praying for your safety as well as the others. Be careful out there and I know, without a doubt, you will be guided from any harm anytime, anyplace, anywhere... Our Healing God will always be with you!" Mother Superior said as she pray over Maine. "Mother, nasaan po sila Sammie ngayon?" Maine asked after her blessings. "Nasa kuwarto nila nagpapahinga. You can go to them, kapapasok pa lang nila...!" Mother Superior said. "OK po, Mother. Dalawin ko po muna ang tatlong bugoy...!" Maine said and wait for Mother Superior nod. After getting permission, she made way to the room of the three kids. Luckily upon opening the main door of their assigned room, they are all awake. She then decided to stay and check on the kids. "Hello, little brothers! How are you today?" Maine greeted them and hug each one of them. "We are fine, Ate Maine. Sore but tolerable...!" Sammie replied. "How about the two of you?" Maine asked as she sit on the bed they are currently occupying. "Same here Ate Maine but mine's a little painful. Maybe because the nurse tried it twice before she was able to get a good nerve to administer the drug. "I am sorry Sammy, if only I could take it from alI of you, will do it!" Maine said, voice sounded sad. "No, it will not be given to you coz your mission is to help other by doing what you love to do. And you know we are proud of you...!" Cole said. "Yes, you will help pa a lot of children like us...! Tom added. Maine can't no longer contain her sympathy to these kids, hugged them and thank them for making her a much better person... "Ate Maine, you are a wonderful person and you will be more blessed because of what you are doing for us. So please stay strong if not much, much stronger..! Sammie said "I will promise... Pinky swear it... We will fight and we will win against this cancer...!" Maine said with so much intensity. The kids can't help but admire her punk... Maine stayed until lunch. She told them to pray for her para makabili sila ng mga gamit para sa orphanage. And pray they will. She stayed for two hours, played and goofed around with them and the other kids. Everyone was happy to see her again. When its time to go, she gave everyone a flying kiss and a prayer for the healing of the three children. "Mother Superior, kayo na po muna ang bahala sa mga bata... At ito po yung budget for the whole month! Mag-iingat po kayo dito ha?" Maine said before she was able to ride her "baby" again for another day. She needs to focus on today's task. And focus she will.
