Head-on

"Gentlemen, meeting will push through later this afternoon as planned. Be ready on whatever changes or plans we have in store for this company" Mr. Mendoza said, dismissing everyone.  He was annoyed by the Eusebio's but he kept his cool.  The Faulkersons and Mendozas then leave the father and son tandem and went to the president's office.  After giving the two families a hard stare, they left with several threats going on both minds!

Pagpasok sa opisina, Hindi na napigilan ni Mr. Mendoza ang mapamura!

"Those bastards are really trying my patience!" He said.
"Pasensiya na, pare! I really didn't know na gagawin nila iyon! I never expected them na ganito sila magiging kabastos!" Nagtatagis ang bagang ni Mr. Faulkerson, Sr dahil sa hiya.  Humungi rin ng dispensa si Richard sa nangyari. 

And since everyone is already aware of the "mission", instead of getting ready for the meeting this afternoon, they decided to go for another discussion instead.  Tutal alam na ng mga magulang nila ang lahat, they decided to discuss matters on hand. 

" Tatay, Sir, we all know naman na po who we are and what are our mission.  We need to end the Red Dragon Syndicate once and for all and we want the both of you out of the picture!" Diretsang sabi ni Maine. 
"Pero, anak...!" Mr. Mendoza was about to protest
"Tay, we want your safety, both of you and the family.  We have already booked a flight for the whole family and also you, Sir together with Riza on a private resort abroad.  We want to secure you first before we face them head-on!" Maine explained to them. 
"Pero mas gusto namin na and I to kami para mas madali namin laying matulungan!" Mr. Faulkerson said.
"I know, Dad that you do, the team knows that but sa laban na ito mas konti ang involved mas makakapagfocus po kami.  Isa pa po, malaking laban ito.  Mas kailangan po namin kayo para ptoktektahan ang lahat ng miyembro ng pamilya.  We all know kung gaano katraydor ang mga kalaban.  If you will let us run the company on its current state, we promise not to ditch it.. We will maintain its market status while doing things that will clear everything off this office!" Richard said, sheer determination being shone on eyes..

Maine, on the other hand felt uneasy.  She felt something is wrong.  Inikot niya ang mata sa lahat ng sulok ng opisina mapadako ang mata niya sa wall glass nito.  Napansin niya na may mga taling nakabitin doon!

"Nagpalinis ba tayo ng facade ng building today??" She immediately asked.
"Hindi -- !" Richard was about to answer when Maine shouted!
"Get down! Get down!" Maine shouted when she saw a combat boots dangling from the top! She took off her derringer strapped on her inner thigh and immediately fired the gun! Good thing she aimed a good shot, she was able to took the intruder right away. She was about to go up when she heard a high pitched shout...

"Dad??? Dad!!!" Richard howled when he felt a liquid oozing on his hands while holding his dad.
May tama ang magandang Faulkerson. 
"Fucking shit! Get them out of here, Mendoza! Everyone follow me! Paolo help Richard lift his dad para mas mabilis tayo! All of you sa top floor!" Maine said at tumakbo na palabas para i-cleae ang daan if ever may iba pang kalaban sa labas!
"Delta, delta! This is Charlie Mendoza... Need a rescue helicopter now.  I need this favor immediately.  Life and death! 5 pax for rescue!" Maine said over the phone while checking her way on to the helipad with Paolo, Richard and everyone on her back!
"Faster, guys! In fifteen minutes help is on the way!" She said upon hearing some noises on her phone.  Pinauna na niya ang lima na umakyat ng marating ang hagdan papunta sa helipad.  Sinisiguradong ayos ang lahat. Nang marating ang itaas ng ligtas, habang naghihintay ng rescue, nakita ni Maine ang mga hanging clamp na ginamit ng nagtangka sa kanila!  And she can still see the man hanging from one of the rope!  She heard the helicopter and made her way towards it.  Richard and Paolo is currently seated on the floor while holding still the unconscious Faulkerson Sr., while Nico is guarding their father! She immediately take over the situation. 

"Sino-sino ang limang makakasa mo sa helicopter, Captain?" The pilot asked.
"Sila lang ang isasakay mo, i'll find my way to get out from this building! Get the stretcher and tied the victim up.  Every second counts! I want all of them alive, you hear me?" Maine said with conviction!
"Aye! Aye! Captain!" The pilot said.

"Eto na ang stretcher, please help secure Mr. Faulkerson safely into it, Paolo, Richard! I will temporarily tied his wounds para tumigil ang pagdurugo.  Sa pinakamalapit na hospital ang destinasyon nyo!" Maine told them while tending to the senior Faulkerson's wounds!" Maine said calmly.
"Anong? Anak, Hindi ka owedeng maiwan dito mag-isa!" Her father said.
"No, walang maiiwan dito!" Nico said.
"Hindi ako papayag na maiwan ka dito, mapanganib!" Richard despite everything protested!"
"Gentlemen, please be informed na Lima lang ang kasya sa rescue copter na yan, Richard kailangan ka ng Tatay mo! Tatay, I want you to be safe same with Paolo and Nico! Nico, nagpapagaling ka pa ng sugat mo! Hindi ka tatagal sa labanan! You all know na kung sino man ang capable sa mission na ito, ay ako! No questions from all of you!" Now, go! Pilot Carvajal, please make them all safe!" Maine said to all of them. When she is done doing the first aid, she took her backpack na kinuha niya kanina sa table niya before going up!  Pinatungan ang damit at kinuha ang dalawang baril sabay tulong sa pagsamapa nilang lahat s helicopter! Sa bilis ng pangyayari, natagpuan na lang nila na nakalis sa building, at nasa himpapawid na sila! They saw Maine check the hanging ropes and do a building rappelling.  They were all nervous while watching her!

On the other hand, Maine was able to do tied herself on the hook and got down the business.  While going down, she was surprised to see the Eusebio's sa opisina ng mga empleyado na nakikipagkwentuhan na animo walang nang yayaring kakaiba.  Nagtagis ang bagang ng dalaga at nagpatuloy ito sa pagbaba..

"I'm on my own... I promise to get justice I have promised to you, Katong!" Maine vowed as she run towards her car.

A/N: I am sorry for the late update, sobrang loaded ang Lola ninyo... Sobrang busy sa realidad.  Hayyy,,, even my fangirling nga medyo nabawasan but nonetheless, diehard MAICHARD  pa rin ako... Mukhang isang taon in the making itong kuwento ko... Hehehe... Sorry talaga! Salamat...
