The Boss

Morning comes and as his responsibility, he went to the office to check if everyone is ready for tonight.  No Maine as expected and that made his mood more gloomy.  He was greeted though by all his colleagues and he was pissed remembering some of these people looked down on Maine as if she was a pesky fly, when all in truth, they were not even meet half of Maine's goodness and achievements! He was about to start his day regardless of the disappointment, he was startled when he heard his phone ringing.  Who would dare call him at this early? He knows the caller is not a family because he has a designated tone for them. 

"Hello, Richard!" The general greeted him.
"O, Sir! Good morning, Sir! Faulkerson here, Sir!" Richard greeted right away.
"Just call to make sure you receive your reinstatement letter! I will personally faxed it you then have it photocopied thrice and gibe one copy to Captain Mendoza! They are currently on training right now so we cannot reach any of them, so find them and bring that letter to her! And that will be your first mission, Lieutenant! Find your team! That will be all!" The general said and dropped the call right away for fear of wire tapping!
Richard was surprised about the call.  Does that mean??? He run towards his personal fax machine and got the paper.  The open letter was his reinstatement letter back to his position before he had his leave of absence and one attachment letter addressed to Captain Nicomaine Dei Mendoza.  It was signed by none other that the General and the Commander in Chief himself and it only mean s one thing! This is irrevocable!  Richard can't help but smile brightly and this is what the Richard Senior saw when he entered the office!

"Look, Love! I think your son has finally found his match!" Richard Senior sighed inwardly and felt happy for his son!
"May this be a start of happiness, Son! It was worth it, my decision to pill some strings is definitely worth it! I wish you happiness!" The Richard Sr said and prayed that this will be the start of his happiness. 

"Son, what's up? Ready for tonight?" The senior asked.

"I got it, Dad! Thank you so much! I owe you one! But as of this time, I need to find team.  Maluwag schedule ko today and Maine made sure of that, kaya thank you sa kanya! I can skip work today, right Dad? Is it okay?" Richard was top excited and couldnt care less if it is obvious or not!
"Go... Find your team, find her!" The senior said. And the moment he heard that, Richard Jr. run as fast as he can to get his car!  He did not even notice Ryzza coming into the office...

"Dad, what with RJ? He seems excited and happy?? O, God, Dad what makes him that happy again? I missed him, being him!" Ryzza was excited upon realizing the changes he saw with his brother. She badly missed that look of excitement on his face for a long time!

"Love, anak! Love!" Richard Sr, told his daughter and Ryzza nod and understand!

Richard is now on a mission! To seek his team, the Mendoza team! Since he had the brochure on his hand of the possible whereabouts of the whole team, hindi nag-aksaya ng time si Richard to bring back that annoying little lady for the party tonight! Its been a long drive for him to San Miguel, Bulacan.  Good thing that the way to Camp Tecson is very detailed using waze.  The place has become a historical sight kaya madali din itong ipagtanong! After arriving at Camp Tecson, dumiretso agad siya sa opisina ng mga sundalo looking for the battalion leader to seek guide and information regarding the whole team.  He gave them the letter provided by the general's office for easy access.  A few phone calls and he was now being guided towards the team's camp!

Maine, however is having the time of her life.  The whole team arrived last night before midnight and was already camped out last night.  She missed the days when her former team slept under the stars and on watched.  She missed those days when everything is just so simple and yet she needs to exert too much effort para kayanin niya yung mga challenges! Yun pala start pa lang yung mga hirap na yun, mas malala pa nasa mission ka na.  How many times na muntik na siyang nawalan ng buhay? Patunay ang mga peklat ng mga tama ng baril sa katawan niya! It became more complicated when she was assigned to become a captain for the hordes of man! It took her almost a month or two to earn her team's respect! She passed it with flying colors.  However, as always dark looms at the corner when everything is good.  The darkest days of the happen when they handle this mission, the RED GROUP DRAGON.  Two of the most reliable personnel on her team was obliterated.  The fact that they were already six feet under is really fueling her drive to take this group down once and for all! 

They were busy running running, a warm up exercise for their starter.  The course will consist of these obstacle course...

Gagapang sila sa maputik na lupa with a barb wire in top of them kaya dobleng hirap then they will do the first obstacle and run in between tree trunks before going to the second obstacle.  And after this rest and then go back again after everyone is through.  So dalawang ikot.  Dapat para magising lahat ang mga natutulog na muscles nila sa katawan.  Oh, did I forgot to mention that even Paolo and Nico, that was also invited on the party is here?  Ummm, well, they are here but after lunch she will release them para magmanman! The party will be at seven and they are not obliged to be there on the dot.  Usually, it's always late at night when drama unfolds so they planned to be there at nine, probably ten tonight! She just wanted them to experience the hardship I have gone through before I got here and they were both game kaya isinama ko na! So far wala pa silang reklamo but the minute na umayaw sila, I will pull them out right away! They were all about to enter the last leg of their 15 rounds on the oval, when they saw two comrades in uniform being trailed by none other than Richard Faulkerson, Jr!!

"And what the hell is he doing in here right now????!!" Maine said inwardly, aost losing her bearing if not for Paolo's side poke!

"Bes, kasali ba siya?!!" Paolo asked, eyes bulging...
