The agenda was already put on her mail by the President himself, Mr. Richard Faulkerson, Sr. The company's takeover and the department's reshuffling of manpower. I will be formally introduced to all the employees as " the Mendoza!" She said, although medyo namumutla siya. As pessimist, she always expecting the worst! Richard can't help but touch her face to calm her down. "Shhh, everything will be alright! I will be beside you, ako ang bahala sumangga sa mga negativities around you. I promise I will protect you! Pinky swear!" Richard uttered with sincerity. "Thank you!" And she hug him. Richard, kahit medyo nabigla at niyakap na din ang dalaga! (Aba, pagkakataon na, bakit ko pa tatanggihan, ano kaya kung itanan ko na ito??? -- Richard's POV)... At ito naman ang eksena nadatnan ni Paolo! "Hello, ang aga-aga pa, ang dami na ng langg sa opisina!" Nanunuksong sabi ni Paolo sa dalawa. Disimuladong naghiwalay ang dalawa, ngunit bago pa makalayo ng husto si Maine sa kanya, Richard whispered.. "Don't worry, love! I got your back!" And he smiled na nagpabilis ng tibok ng puso ng dalaga at nagpangiti dito ng matamis. "Tinginan lang, nagkaintindihan na? Ano to?" Kinikilig na sabi ni Paolo.
They have been engrossed on their specific jobs, Maine giving Paolo some briefing about his scope of work and Richard, checking the pending transactions of the company, when Nico, Mr. Faulkerson, Sr and Mr. Mendoza arrived. "Good morning!" Paolo greeted them and Maine introduced him to them. Richard, on the other hand, heard them, stood up and greeted them as well. They were having a chit chat when someone barged in at the office unannounced!
"Uyy, kompleto na pala ang management! Good morning sa lahat, I guess!" Jeremy said with a sarcastic smirk on his mouth, on his back is his father at katulad ng anak at may malisyosong ngiti ito sa mga labi! Maine is already seeing red and she is trying her damnedest to contain her anger! "Ohhhh, the fiancée is here! Hello!" And Jeremy near her. Richard, immediately took Maine's hand to calm her. He can sense her emotional turmoil inside when he look straight on her eyes. Alam niya gigil na gigil ang dalaga! Nang maramdaman ng dalaga ang kamay ng binata, tumingin ito sa mga mata ng binata na nagpakalma sa dalaga. Humarap ito muli kay Jeremy matigas na tumango!
"At magandang umaga rin sa iyo Tito at sa bagong may-ari ng RFJ Group, Mr. Teodoro Mendoza, at sa walang kasing giting na Kapitan, Capt NICO Mendoza!" Dugtong ni Jeremy sabay kamay Kay Nico!
