Wait??? Dei???!!!!

"Dei!!!???"

Richard saw her immediately as Paolo and Maine stride towards them. Nico, then face them when he heard Richard's comment.

"Good thing you heed, Maine and as always stunning. So let's go?" Nico asked Maine ignoring Richard's stupefied look. Paolo, however, got nervous of what will be Richard's reaction once he got over his shock. Maine, on the other hand, took Nico's hand and walked along Nico.

"Dei???" Richard said again. Paolo went at the side of Richard.
"Richard, are you okay?" Paolo asked Richard.
"Ummm, what happened?" Richard asked, still in trance.
"I will explain later, come along Richard. Let's get things done here first!" Paolo said and drag Richard along with him.

They found the nuns at Baste's room, waiting for them with the update of Baste's whereabouts. They were told that the hospital will be releasing the body for the wake tomorrow by morning. They were advice to wait for their call the following day.

"Ummm, Maine?" Mother Superior got Maine's attention.
"Po?" Maine answered.
"We decided to have three days for his wake at St. Joseph Church near our home. This will also help us make sure the other children will be able to see him for the last time and will still be able go home at night for their sleep. Would you be agreeable to that?" Mother Superior asked.
"Why would I not be, Mother? If you think this will be good for him and the others, please do so po...!" Maine said, tears starting to well up again on her eyes.
"Maine, you are her " big sister", he said so himself, so we want to ask for your opinion about this. Kung pwede nga lang ikaw mismo ang maging katuwang namin sa buong lamay, pero alam namin na may mga kailangan kang gawin. Gusto lang namin na masiguro na kumbiyente sa iyo ang arrangement para Hindi ka mahirapan kung makakadalaw ka...!" Mother Superior said.
"Nico, could you take over for me for three days? Please, please...! Baka pwedeng saluhin muna ang sermon ni Tatay for me, babawi ako sa iyo" Maine begs Nico.
"Ano ba ang inaasikaso mo ngayon? Yung Mainedei ba?" Nico asked.
"No, RFJ... I am done so far sa Mainedei, monitoring lang muna ako, habang naka fulltime ako sa RFJ... Tatay is helping RFJ...!" Maine explained but did not dig deep about the issue. She will just discuss it to him tomorrow morning.
"Okay, no problem... Make sure that all the info needed for the next three days is complete, appointments and such...!" Nico said.
"Richard here can help you out Nico... He is the heir of RFJ by the way...!" Paolo blurted out of nowhere.
"What???" Sigaw ni Nico.
"Yap, he will be trained to take over some responsibility off his father, however --- !" Paolo started but was stopped by Richard.
"Richard Faulkerson!" And bring out his hand for a shake but a smirk on his mouth.
"Nicodynn MENDOZA!" Nico said with a much evident sarcastic smirk on his lips.
Richard was taken aback upon introduction, and he was about to snap when he heard Paolo's voice.
"Good, at least you know each other's name, you could work out for the next three days, right?" Paolo said.
Nico and Richard stare at Paolo, irritation evident both on their faces.
"O, baka mag-away pa kayo??? No need to take on each other, civil lang three days lang o??? Baka instead na makatulong si Bes, kayo pa isipin niya!" Paolo said to them. Both did not speak but nod to each as if they had declared a truce silently.

Mother Superior then told them to go home first and come back tomorrow at the chapel. They all agreed and went down.

"Menggay, ako na magdadala ng sasakyan mo!" Nico declared.
"But - " Maine was about to protest.
"No buts, Missy! You will be grounded to ride this baby for a month!" Nico said with firm resolution.
"Kuya!!! What the heck, alam mo kailangan ko yan e!" Maine said.
"I know but you broke the rule, little missy, so face the consequence!" Nico said and grab her keys from her hands. The sibling did a staring contest.
"Uyyy, kayong dalawa tigilan nyo na yan! Bes, Nico is correct, face your consequences of your impulsiveness. Be responsible. Nico, on the other hand, why not help her pimp her ride? Alam mo namang kailangan niya yan, especially pag may tawag di ba?" Paolo said.
Maine and Nico looked at Paolo and the siblings nod after weighing Paolo's suggestion.

"Next weekend let's do it... Your keys will stay with me until that day. I will coordinate with them regarding your situation...!" Nico said.
Maine agreed and catch the keys of Nico of his car.

Richard remained quiet the whole ordeal but too many questions is running on his mind right now. He was obviously left out and been taken out of place. He wanted to talk but he can see that the three is too engrossed of their arguments...

"What's with this nerd? But shit, she is no nerd. She really is Dei!! Pinaglaruan nila ako!" Richard said inwardly.

Paolo noticed Richard's confusion, kaya kinuha niya ang pansin ni Maine ng pasimple. Sinenyasan niya na kay Richard na siya sasabay pauwi. Napansin ni Maine ang kalituhan Kay Richard at medyo naawa siya sa binata kaya tumango siya.

"Richard, sabay na tayo... Pwede ba?" Paolo asked Richard. Richard nod at Paolo and nod to the sibling as if saying goodbye. Maine and Nico nods at naghiwa-hiwalay na sila ng sasakyan. Nico rode the scrambler and already left after saluting to everyone. Maine followed Nico right away. Richard and Paolo followed them out.

Richard and Paolo remained quiet during the ride, Paolo was about to test the water nang biglang huminto ang sasakyan ni Richard.

"Fuck... Fuck...!" Richard cursed.
"Anong nangyari?" Paolo asked.
Bumaba si Richard at sinipa ang sasakyan.  Paolo stop him.  Alam niya na frustrated ang kaibigan at sobra din ang stress sa dami ng nalaman niya today plus yung sitwasyon ng kompanya niya pati frustrations niya sa buhay.
"Richard, itigil mo yan! Tama na!" Paolo stop him and Richard glare at him but said nothing. 
"Engine failure.  Nakakainis! Bakit ngayon pa???" Richard said frustrated.
"No biggies, wait ka lang diyan! Help is on the way...!" Paolo said.  Paolo called someone and drop the phone after a minute or two.

They both sat on the car's hood while waiting for the help.

Paolo : Okay ka lang?

Richard : Paanong nangyari na si nerd at Dei ay iisa?
