Locked and Loaded

She can't help it but her hatred gone beyond her judgement.  She was not supposed to retaliate nor even show some emotions when facing the devil however, with what he said, she exploded.  All her pent-up emotions was stirred and she lashed out.  She cannot forgive of someone joking around the "C" and get away with it.  She took refuge to her "special" place at the lobby.  She hide herself and took everything off her.  She is enraged right now and took her keys to let out some steam off her.  She clip her hair in a bun, took her helmet and change into her riding clothes.  She took off and went to the elevator to the basement to her "ride" and sped off.  She is two hour short of her 8-hour duty at the office.  But she knows that if she stay, worst thing could happen.  She took her turn to her place to unleash her hatred and once there parked her ride and enter the place.  She change into her training outfit and look for her regular buddy.  She took a gulp out of her bottle and start her warm-up exercise. Yes, she is doing a training for muay thai.  She had been a member for quite sometime now.  She used this to unleash all her pent-up emotions, to calm herself.  She kicked, she jumps, she boxed, making her calm down.   Kuya Jose, her buddy, noticed her anger and just let her, even offered himself for sparring.  He just let her do her thing.  Hinayaan niya lang since alam niya na this is Maine's outlet to calm down.  But he wondered what us it this time.  Its been a while since she did this.  After an hour, Maine felt her exhaustion, got up, got her Gatorade and drank it bottoms up.
She took her towel and sit down.  Kuya Jose, sat down after a few minutes.

KJose: So what was that all about?
Maine : A pesky fly.
KJose: What is it this time?
Maine: Calling the "C" a big joke. 
KJose: Who?
Maine: Son of the Senior, irresponsible gigolo.
KJose: Huh? Akala ko ba tamad yun! Bakit nagpunta sa opisina.
Maine: Truth, the Senior asked me to be his secretary.  E wala namang alam... Looks really does not justify brain... Hmmmp, sarap sapakin!
KJose: Don't, kasi posibleng matanggal ka sa team.
Maine: Ano pa nga ba?

Jose give her some time to cool down before he approached her again.

KJose: Anong kalmado ka na?
Maine: Yap...
KJose: Good.  Nga pala, ready ka for a game next week.  50 grand daw...
Maine: Saan?
KJose: Somewhere in Laguna... Anong game?
Maine: Text kita, pag walang aberya sa team..
KJose: Need ko sagot tomorrow, para mai-setup na ng maayos bago mag next week.
Maine: Sino ba kalaban?
KJose: Si Sam...
Maine: Tagal na nung huli kaming naglaban a! Sige, call na ako...
KJose: Sabi ko na nga ba e! Namiss mo din ang tropa mong yun e...
Maine: Oo naman, almost three years na... Okay na ako, sabihin mo na lang na call ako...
KJose: Okay, tatawagan ko na mamaya...

Maine took a shower after, put on her gear and drive back to the office.  Its past half eight so there is no other people on the floor.  She needs to do the report.  She was so engrossed with her work when someone towered over her.

"Bakit andito ka, nerd?" Richard asked as he maneuvers herself in front of her table.  He felt her alertness and decided to place himself in front of the table.

"Doing my job!" Maine answered, poker face. 
"You will be paid only for six hours today, no special treatment, just so you know and a memo will be passed on you tomorrow, uhhhmmm, abandoning position... Ummm,  one week suspension...!" Richard said, as if threatening her.
"Do it! And thanks to you, coz I will be free from here after three offenses, right? So I got one... Need to work on the two... So I think, the second one will be by next week, right?" Maine said, still poker face.
"Ang yabang mo, akala mo Hindi kita kayang ipatanggal? I will definitely do it and you will be sorry for yourself coz you won't get any decent job after!" Napipikon ng sabi ni Richard Kay Maine.
Maine remained quiet and unresponding.
"Well, sabagay kabit ka nga pala ng daddy ko, so sa kanya ka humihingi ng pera...!" Richard said accusingly...
Maine still quiet, calm and not even flinched at what he said.
"I will destroy you...!" Richard said, seething in anger.
"Are you done with your monologue? Well, if yes, let me work on last report and then I will fly out of this building and say goodbye to hell! Thank you for the easy way out, Boss Devil!" Maine said and looked back at the desktop once again to work.
"I swear to destroy you, Maine... And no one, not even you can stop me!" Richard said.
"Do it!" Maine replied back and turned her back away from him.

Richard stormed off from the office.  Gone were his calm facade and wanted to get back at Maine right away.
