Bullied

"Dude! Nasabi mo talaga sa kanya yan!" Kris asked.
Richard just ignored the teasing look but his face was beet red.  He decided to open up a new topic to escape their scrutiny.

"Bakit ka nga pala nandito? Paano ka nakapunta dito?" Richard asked Kris.
"Paolo invited me over.  And I still remember where this place is.  Anyways, I thought may lakad ka? Isinasama mo pa ako, dito din pala yun, sana sinundo mo na lang ako!" Kris said.
"Yap, meron dapat talaga! Remember, Jerry? Siya yung nag-aya.  Supposedly nasa  tambayan sana tayo, kaso may tumawag sa kanya, emergency saw, kaya ayun Hindi natuloy!" Richard explained.
"E bakit andito ka? Sana nagpahinga ka na lang...!" Sabi ni  Paolo.
"Oo nga dude! Kagagaling mo nga lang pala sa alcohol toxicity!" Kris said na nagpakunot sa noo ni
Richard.
"Nakwento na ni  Paolo sa akin!" Kris said as if answering his unspoken question.
"Good thing, Maine has quick wits, baka Hindi lang yun ang inabot mo!" Kris added.
"Yap, thanks to her!" Richard said, face softening as he turned his head towards Maine is.  Kris and Paolo saw the transition and can't help but smile.  Both has the same idea going on their head.  Paolo nodded at Kris.

Kris, without further ado, went to Maine. He greeted Maine and hug her and greet her by kissing her cheeks.  Halatang nagulat si Maine but she just let it.  Paolo secretly send a thumbs up to Kris.

Richard, was so surprised ng makita niya ang nangyari.  He wasn't aware he had bitten his lips and if not for the bloody taste he will not stop it.  He saw red and he is about to go near Maine and snatch her from his best friend, when he heard Paolo said.

"Ohhh, I can see romance here... Bagay sila db?" Paolo said, nang-iinis.

"Hindi kaya!" Richard said without thinking.

"E sino mas  bagay sa kaibigan ko? Yung mga feeling guwapo na nagpapalipad ng hangin sa kanya?" Paolo said.

"Ako lang ang bagay sa kanya, wala nang iba!!!" Richard said, medyo pasigaw kaya napatingin sa kanila ang mga tao, maging sila Maine at Kris.

"Umm, sorry everyone, we are just practicing some lines from my new script...!" Paolo apologized to everyone, saving Richard's ass.

Richard, was still surprised on what he said bid goodbye to Paolo telling him he needs to do something important.  Paolo, though surprised at his sudden flight, understood, let him.  Aba, hindi madali ang umamin sa mga bagay na idi-deny mo no!  Hinatid na lang niya into ng tingin patungo sa sasakyan into bago pumunta sa kinaroroonan no Maine at Kris.

Richard went out.  Para pa rin siyang lutang habang nagmamaneho. Hindi pa rin maintindihan how that nerd able to penetrate his tight defense.  His well built fortress.  He ways are always calculated!  He just drive his car without definite place in mind.

Maine, on the other hand, just shrugged off her shoulder when she saw her boss went out. 
"Hmmm, nainip siguro... Well, goodbye for today! I am busy!" Maine said inwardly and unknowingly pouts her lips.  Kris, observed her closely and he can feel Maine's disappointment. 
"You are one lucky bastard, RJ!" Kris sighed inwardly. 
Paolo and Kris, since they are already here, helped Maine in taking care of the visitors.  This is the last wake so they need to work hard and make sure everything is ready for tomorrow.
