She can't help but feel annoyed of the exchanges they had. That man really infuriates her. Ever since they first met, that man really got under her skin. He made her cringe every time his name is being mentioned by his father. She even had to many devil's name for him starting to - yabang, spoiled brat, playboy, heartbreaker down to irresponsible gigolo... And anything in between... She needs to take that devil off her head or else she will have a very, very bad day. She concentrate on happy thoughts and after a minute or two, she looked at everything now on a positive point. She then started to call the most difficult to talk when rescheduling appointments. The difficult the better. For Maine, she needs to conquer first the harder one before proceeding to an easy one. This will ease up some tension as she slowly resolve the issue. She called in right away and took her fifteen minutes to reschedule a meeting for tomorrow. Good thing that she was able to turn the tables around Mr. Tan and won the bargain. After the first one, she was slightly surprised when she was able to schedule everything according to his boss' plan. She smiled after that. But as the saying goes, devil goes everywhere, she was a little stunned to see RJ in front of her.
"So Nerd, how are you? Been a while since we last saw each other ha? Patingin nga kung gumanda ka kahit konti...!" Pang-aasar ni RJ.
"And I was in hell again. So who do you wanna see, the bitch Maine?" Maine retaliated without looking at him like she was talking to a pesky fly.
"Hay, naku, wala pa ding nagbago sa iyo Nerd. Uyyy! Millennium na, di na USO si Miss Tapia ohhh... Tapos na ang era ng iskul bukol... Pa old maid pa din ang peg?" RJ said, still taunting her...
"I would rather be the Miss Tapia of the Millennium rather being an irresponsible gigolo! By the way, what's your business here? I am trying to patch the chaos you have created by being here today, Devil Boss...!" Maine said without even trying to hide her disgust on him.
And since she is not looking at him, she didn't saw him flinch at the words she hurled at him...
"Well, Dad is calling you and I don't know why... You don't strike me as a pivotal employee here in the office, they could work without you, you know!" RJ although harboring hatred towards her, still trying to control his emotions and made sure she can inflict pain on this nerd.
"No worries, I could get out now in this very instant. You could now tell your father, his journal today and tomorrow are my final task and I am done now with it, so I can now run along... Bye, Mr. Devil...!" She fixed the table, got her bag, change her shoes and in a minute, she took her time card and punch out... No other words were spoken after she stood up and walked out the door.
RJ was surprised of what transpired and he goes out to tell his father what she had done.
Upon entering the conference room, his father's demeanor change, from being calm while talking to his lawyer to being annoyed.
"What have you done this time?" Ricky asked his son.
"Your slut resign just this very minute!" RJ said nonchalantly.
"What???!!!" Ricky was stunned.
"She resigned. As if her position is pivotal, e puro clerical lang ang trabaho niya... She is just an added accessories -- !" RJ added but before he finished his sentences, his father whacked him in the head.
"You incompetent fool, go now, find her or you will be sorry for the rest of your life...!" Mr. Faulkerson Sr., said to his son.
"And why would I get back your slut for you? I'm your son for Pete's sake...!" Richard Jr., said.
"Coz she is more efficient and reliable than you...!" The senior said.
RJ was shocked upon hearing it but he knows its the truth, but he has his own reason and that's what's more important to him than other people.
"You go get now or else...!" The Sr., said...
