The Boss' Nerd

Mesmerized

Richard got to his room right away, face flushed.  Upon seeing him, Mr. Sotto and Mr. Tuviera speak up...
"Mr. Faulkerson, we don't have enough time for this knick-knack.  Tell us if you could do it, or we can withdraw right away and look for a replacement.!" Mr. Tuviera said.
"No, need to look for one as of the moment... Hear me out and discuss this with me and if unsatisfied, Mr. Faulkerson, Sr., will void the deal.!" Maine said on her commanding voice. That got the three gentleman on the table. They were as if hearing the owner themselves.  She sounded very professional but warm. 
"Good morning, gentlemen.  This discussion will take sometime so let me ask you first what drinks would you like to drink?" Maine asked as she settle herself, beside Richard.  She then passed the portfolios to Richard and whispered to him before she stood up and asked someone outside to fix themselves some drinks.  And then settle herself again at Richard's side.
"So Mr. Sotto enlighten me of your passing here without proper notifications, what is there to discuss?" Maine said coolly.
"The skit is not good.  It lacks something...!" Mr. Sotto said.
"What seems to be the problem, Sir?" Maine said.
"What do you mean of lacking something? Is it the dialogue or the script? Can you be more specific?" Maine asked, taking notes.
"If I were to watch it as the skit goes like that, I will be bored to death...!" Mr. Sotto said.
Before the discussion continued, there drinks arrived and over coffee discussed things neatly and professionally.  Maine presented their revised skit and discussed the whole project in perspective of the consumer.  Maine was so precise on her explanations and retaliation, even Richard could only listen to her arguments and discussion.  They were surprised after a long time discussing, they were done and everything was settle.  Mr. Sotto and Mr. Tuviera was impressed with Maine.  She is so witty and funny.  A new contract has been drawn and it will be in a week's time the project will start.
But before the Sotto and Tuviera go, they were still able to praise Maine of her wit and professionalism.  They were awed at how fast Maine thinks and retort.  They made sure that Maine has their vote of confidence on this project.  Maine see them out.  Once the clientele was put of sight, she releases a big sigh. 
"Wooohhh! Another close call... Good thing that I am always prepared of the worst!" Maine said inwardly.

She rest her back at her chair, massage her head to relax.  She couldn't take off her glasses to avoid what ifs...

"Tired?" Richard spoke as she saw the nerd massaging her head.
"Yap! Can you spare me a minute to rest before you throw me out again on this office? I need to drive a long way later, and I need to relax my nerves...!" Maine said, eyes still closed.
"Take your time...!" Richard said.  And he was mesmerized with the cream texture of her face.  So smooth.  He is just staring at her, when her phone rings...
She scrambled to answer the phone...
"Yes, Kuya Jimmy, same spot po sa baba... Pakiiwan na lang po Kay Kuya Eric yung susi... Salamat po... Ingat po kayo...!" She was about to fix her things when she notice that Richard is still in front of her.
"Sir, you don't have to check on me, coz I am going now... You will have your peace of mind.  I'll just send you the link of our confidential files once your father approved of it.  I'm done here now, so I'll be going... I still have five days before reporting to work again...!" Maine said before she stood up and and got her things...
"I could reach you through your phone anytime right, in case something like this happen again?" Richard said.
"Better make sure it is an emergency... Only those important people are my "emergencies".  I'll be going now...!" Maine said and without further ado, turned her back at Richard. 
"Ummm, by the way... Thank you for today...!" Richard hesitantly said...
Maine heard that and nod at his direction.
"Well, that's the first... Bye for now, Boss Devil!" Maine said
Maine went out and change into her riding habit at the lobby as usual.  Just as she instructed, she got the keys through Kuya Eric. 
After a super stressed day, she needs to "unwind".  She is planning to drive around the city to calm down her nerves.

Richard, on the other hand, was still amazes at how the "nerd" conversed.  He was like watching its "owner" in action.  She answered everything right on the bat.  The disadvantages was pronounced and pinpointed but she was able to turn it into a positive solution.  Even the Tuvieras and Sotto, found her amusing, intelligently amusing.  They even try to bait her twice of thrice but she never back down.  And truthfully, on that meeting, he was more of the assistant not the son of the owner himself.  Its like he is the bodyguard while the lady boss gets to decide what's the next step.  Its been a while, when his mind was stimulated and challenged by a very intelligent person.  And most of his conversation nowadays, centered on how well he use his body intimately.  And come to think of it, its been a while since he had a night cap and he did not even missed it, the last time he looked is because he is so angry with the nerd and that's how she meet Dei. 
"That smooth caramel skin I could shower with kisses.  Her big doe eyes, and her pert little nose and that luscious lips! Damn, what I would give to kiss that luscious lips... But what attracted me most is her defiance, her spitfire.  Ahhhh, that girl... Where is she?  I wanted to talk to her again... I wanted to see that fire in her eyes again...!" Richard said inwardly... Groaning frustratedly.

And he called Paolo again...
