Dei's Secret Place

Mahaba ang naging biyahe nila. Hindi dahil lumabas sila ng Maynila pero madaming ikot ang ginawa nila to make sure na walang nakasunod sa kanila. After almost two hours, dumating sila sa isang private village. Paolo just took out his arm with an ID and they were inside the village gate. A few more turns and he saw a beautiful and chic, glass walled two-storey house. It was located by the end of the road na mas nagpa-private pa lalo sa bahay. Dead end, meaning walang pwedeng dumaan na sasakyan sa harap ng bahay maliban sa may-ari lang.

The house although full glass walled, it concealed everything from the outside. It was all one-way mirror glass panel.

Athena was so mesmerized of the house. The door held a finger print locked device that will enable the lock to open. She is the only one who can have a full access to her humble abode. Maine clapped her hands and said "lights on" and Athena was surprised to see that all lights turned on.
"Ate Ganda, ang galing! Paano po yun?" She said.
Seeing the delight on the child's face, she can't help but indulge her.
"Okay, let me first turn it off and then you try, okay?" Maine said and clapped nd the lights goes off..
"Light's on!" Athena squealed and clapped her hands to her delight and everything turned on for her.
"You see, Athena, even in the darkest place, you will see small light that can somehow lessen your pain..!" Maine can't help but tell it to Athena as she remembered their current dilemma.

Richard heard what she said and it dawned on him that she is not only saying it or the child's sake but for them as well.

"Bes, pakidala muna si Richard sa guest room sa may kanan, tapos doon ka sa kaliwa. Ako na bahala kay Athena, sa kuwarto ko siya!" Maine said at umakyat na sila papuntang 2nd floor.

As they were ascending, Richard can't help but notice the blow up pictures of Dei on the wall. He was in awe on every portrait he is seeing.
