Out of the Open...

They were still trying to savor the quietness of the surrounding after some part of their confessions and their ill feelings towards when they felt its drizzling.  Afraid to get sick, they have decided to went inside.  With Richard, supporting her,they went inside but was surprised to hear Paolo shouting.

"Bes! Bes!" Paolo screamed from the kitchen area.  Napatakbo ang dalawa sa kusina.

"What happened?"
"Anong nangyari? Bakit ka ba sigaw ng sigaw?" Maine said.

"There's a letter for you inside together with the files!" Paolo said to them.  Maine run towards Paolo and grab the envelope Paolo is holding.  She open it immediately the letter and read it.

Dearest Menggay,

I know pag nabasa mo itong letter na ito may masamang nangyari na sa akin.  At alam ko na sisihin mo na naman ang sarili mo! Please, Bes, wag.  Everything that happened and will happen are already anticipated.  I even knew that death is inevitable on me and Mark long before. They were responsible for the lost of our daughter. 

Truth is they want Mark to join on their illegal activities, but Mark decline.  He dont want to get involve on drug trades at isa pa magkakaroon na kami ng anak kaya ayaw niya.  He wants to ave a peaceful life.  However, they need Mark connections, being one of the head in Customs para makapasok ng "legal" ang droga dito sa Pinas.  They threatened him to kill me and our child pag hindi siya pumayag.  Itinakas niya kami on that same day.  He was forced to come back when he learned na nagkasakit ng malubha ang ama nila.  And that was the last time I saw him again.  Believing na pinaasa niya lang ako, i worked hard for me and the baby.  We were doing good when my baby gone missing.  And after some time, I learned na buhay ang anak ko at ginagamit itong pain sa ama niya na kasalukuyang lugmok na sa droga noon.  I had my own investigation through friends.  I found out na they injecting him drugs para mapasunod siya at mapapirma ang mga papeles na kailangan for the release ng mga "legal" na kontrabando.  He ever abandoned us, they forced him to leave us.  And when he is sane, he kept asking for me and our daughter kaya kinuha nila ang anak ko, pinalabas nila na patay na ako.  After learning all of it, I vowed myself na kukunin ko sila ng buhay kaya I did go to military training.
