Maine drove the car casually. Paolo didn't speak and Richard is busy observing Maine discreetly. However, both man can still sense Maine's sadness. As the car cruise along, silence is so thick that Paolo decided to put end to it...
"Bes, can we turn on the radio?" Paolo asked. "No biggies, bes!" Maine said.
Paolo decided to ride the shotgun seat while Richard stayed at the back. Paolo then turn on the car stereo and a soothing music was heard all over.
"Paolo, we will first send Sir Richard home then you, will that be fine?" Maine asked. "Bes, no problem. At least we can still do road trip... Richard, saan ka ba ngayon uuwi?" Paolo asked Richard. "Makati." Richard said. "Drive over Serendra, that's where he will be staying for the night!" Paolo said and Maine nodded. "Sir, the gang will have your car ready for you by tomorrow afternoon, payments will be settled by the office and will be sent through e-mail...!" Maine said to Richard, without even looking his way, eyes on the road. "K." Richard said. "Sir, I will be reporting tomorrow morning before going out on leave for the next three days, Nico will be my substitute. Don't worry, Sir, he will not bother you nor interfere with your decisions. All he will do is to help you out on some things that will come unexpectedly. Do you have any questions as of this time, sir?" Maine asked Richard again. "None." Richard said, cold.
Silence followed after the exchange. They were surprised when Paolo's phone beep. Paolo then looked at his phone, smile playing on his lips.
"Bes, trouble brewing...!" Paolo said. "Where?" Maine said. "McKinley..!" Paolo said. "Okay. Tell them we will just drop a VIP at Serendra and we will be at the place in ten minutes!" "Richard, kapit!" Paolo warned Richard. Maine upon hearing the warning, sped off like a dare devil. Richard was a bit shocked but was never surprised. She could drive a scrambler, so what's so surprising if she could drive a car like madman? Before they knew it, they were already in front of Serendra and Richard was dropped off already at the lobby. Maine and Paolo sped off before Richard could even say goodbye to them. That leave a knit on Richard's brow.
He was on his way to the elevator, when he heard two hotel staff talking to each other.
"Pre, kamusta na kaya yung hostage taking sa McKinley?" The staff asked. "Balita ko until now, ongoing pa rin..!" The second staff said.
That made Richard stop. If he is not mistaken, Paolo and Maine talked about McKinley earlier, a trouble. Is it connected to them? But then, Richard upon realizing na baka nagkakamali lang siya ng dinig, then shrug off his shoulders and went up after. He is so tired and sleepy.
Meanwhile, Maine and Paolo arrived at McKinley. They assessed the situation and Maine was greeted by two police officer. "Captain, good evening...!" Police Officer Wally greeted Maine. "Carry on. Status?" Maine said while wearing her uniform. She then connect her head phone to make a connection with the team and checked her sniper rifle.

"Captain, the situation has been ongoing for almost two hours now, two hostages are being held by the taker. According to the neighborhood, the hostage taker is an addict who came in the house with only a mother and child is currently home. The husband is already at bay and is waiting for the development. They are the team of most disciplined cadets. They are the most tactically trained men, thus earning her a captain rank. When Maine came back, she applied as undercover agent and is currently on call since she is still making a name for herself on her family niche.
