"Dad, I am sorry for being a first class asshole. Sorry for putting your name to shame!" Richard said...

Mr. Faulkerson was stunned but collected himself right away. He gathered his son on his arms and hugged him.
"It's okay, it's okay!" Mr. Faulkerson said.
"I'm so sorry, Dad! I didn't know... I didn't know!" Richard continuous to cry. Mr. Faulkerson just listened to his son's crying. "Shah, its okay, its okay!" Mr. Faulkerson said, habang inaabot ang isang baso ng tubing para mapakalma ang anak.
"If only I really checked on what's happening, I could somehow lessen the pain. Mas naging madali Sana Kay mommy ang lahat at kahit papaano nakausap KO pa si mommy!" Richard said, still crying.
"Kilalang-kilala ka talaga ng mommy mo, anak! Alam niya na sesemplang ka page nalaman mo ang lahat!" Napapangiting sabi ng ama na nagpangiti kay Richard.
"Ayan, o di ba ang guwapo?" Panunukso ng ama sa kanya na nagpaluwag kahit papaano sa nararamdaman niya.
"Sorry dad! I really do! If only I knew. Sorry dahil na-drag yung name nyo sa kahihiyang pinaggagagawa ko!" Sabi ni Richard na hiyang-hiya sa ama.
"Anak, there are lessons in life na matutunan lang natin pag napagdaananan na. Pag nakita at naramdaman na natin ang epekto nito sa atin at sa paligid natin. At napakasuwerte mo dahil sandali lang ang pagkahibang mo. Madami ka pang panahon para bumawi!" Mr. Faulkerson said, as he helped his son sat on the sofa para mas makapag-usap sila.
"I don't know kung paano ako makakabawi pero babawi talaga ako, dad!" Richard said with conviction. "I will make you proud of me again!" He added.
"Son, I am very much proud of you. Not only because of your achievement but also your pain.  You learned from it and I will always be here for you and your sibs if ever you falter.  Pinangako ko sa mommy ninyo na kahit anong mangyari, hinding-hindi ko kayo susukuan, lalo ka na, mama's boy!" Mr. Faulkerson teased him.
"Salamat, Dad!" Nasabi na lang ng binatang napapangiti na.
"Napakaswerte ko talaga sa mga magulang ko! Salamat po, Lord! At ipinapangako ko mula ngayon magiging mabuting tao na ako! Never will I leave from your graces again!" Richard prayed to himself, grateful to the Lord for everything.

"Umm, Dad! I got to tell you something important regarding our company?" Richard hesitantly asked his father.
"What about?" Mr. Faulkerson, kahit na may ideya na siya kung anuman iyon, ay naghintay pa rin sa sasabihin ng anak.
"Could I invite you po for dinner this Thursday? We need to discuss something really important and we will be accompanied by some important people?" Richard asked, praying na pumayag na lang at wag na magtanong.  He needs to make sure na nasa harap na nila ang kapitan ng buhay niya bago magsalita tungkol sa plano. 
"Okay, no problem.  Mga seven pm ba yan?" Mr. Faulkerson asked.
"Yup, around that time, Dad!" Richard said, breathing a sigh of relief.
"Okay, good thing I don't have scheduled meetings that time.  I am free the whole day!" His father said.
"Thanks, Dad and again I am sorry!" Richard hugged his dad and went to his room right away to tell his captain.

After a few rings, Maine answered his phone call.

"Hello?" Maine said.
"Hello, Captain! How are you?" Richard asked, medyo paos pa dahil sa pag-iyak.
"I am okay, what happened to you, Boss? Did you just cry?" Maine asked.
"A bit, Captain!" Richard said.
"Aww, a lieutenant that is a crybaby.  Cutee!!!" Maine said, teasing him.
Napangiti naman si Richard but he still needs to retaliate.
"No way, me a crybaby? Baka ikaw yun, Captain?" He said.
"No way, Lt.! By the way, did you already asked Mr. Faulkerson?" Maine said, iniba ang usapan.
"Captain, you should start calling him Dad.  You will be her future daughter in law, dapat masanay ka na!" Richard suddenly said na nagpapula sa pisngi ng kapitan.
"What are you saying?" Maine tried to sound angry but she felt somehow she failed.
"Ang sabi ko -- !" Richard was about to reiterate what he said a while ago when Maine cut him off.
"Thursday OK with your dad, Lieutenant?" Maine asked para ibahin ang usapan.
Tila nakuha ng binata ang pag-ilag ng dalaga kaya umoo na lang siya.  Bagaman gusto pa sana niyang makausap ng matagal ang dalaga.  But still he himself knows na madami pa siyang dapat gawin to prove na gusto na niya talaga ang dalaga.  Hindi lang gusto, gustong-gusto!
"If that's the case, then see you tomorrow for the execution of phase I.  We need to be more careful and precise and detailed starting tomorrow.  I don't want any distractions para matapos na itong Red Group syndicate. Masyado na silang nag-enjoy, tayo naman!" Maine said trying to sound calm and professional, despite the fact na triple ang bilis ng tibok ng puso niya dahil sa mga sinasabi ng binata!
"Hoy, puso ni Nicomaine, pumirmi ka! Sumunod ka sa katawan ng may katawan! Wag ka muna kiligin oh, playboy yan, heartbreaker yan uyyy! Makisali ka muna Kay brain! Ang harot mo!" Sabi ni Maine sa sarili...

"Yes, Captain! See you tomorrow! And by the way before you forgot, no more nerd outfit to you, Captain! And you will be introduce as my lovely fiancée tomorrow! So before this day ends, let me say to you... Goodnight to you, my beautiful fiancée.. Dream of me..!" He said before hanging up na nagpabilis pa lalo sa tibok ng puso ni Maine.
"Utot mo, fiancée mo mukha mo! Marami ka pang dapat patunayan bago ko ibigay ang matamis Kong OO...!" Maine said inwardly, and her eyes bulged out as she realized what she just said.  Sasagutin pero pakipot muna! The gods must be crazy! How can she fell from that guy??? Oh my God! Oh my god!

Guys, sobrang salamat sa matagal na paghihintay.  Sana I can still meet your expectations pa rin kahit sabaw na minsan ang mga updates ko... Salamat...
