Enemy At Bay

The game went smoothly and she won the game.  Good thing, that she mastered her motorcycle, she was able to play with its control expertly and was able to pull out a win at the last minute. She put her winnings in a good use right away.  She gave it to the charity house and they know what to do with it.
Come Monday, she dreaded to come to work if she did not promise the Senior, he will come to work again, she would rather tinkle her "baby".  She would rather be with this "baby" than the monster.  But a promise is a promise and she needs to do it.  However, she also promised to herself that she will not stay quiet and she will fight back...

She come to work again at her usual time and parked her "baby" at the same spot.  The guard greeted her upon reaching the lobby.

"Good morning, Ms. Maine...!" The guard said.
"Magandang umaga din... As usual, same routine, Kuya Eric!" Maine said.
"Yes, Maine... No problem, este Ms. Nerd!" Kuya Eric said.
"Okay, Kuya! Akyat na ako... Sino maaga ngayon?" Maine said and asked...
"Yung tatlong accounting staff natin, may tinatapos lang daw pong report...!" Kuya Eric said.
"Good, very good!" And she walked out towards the elevator. 
She came by her office and she donned again on her signature Miss Tapia look. 

She reviewed all the things she missed and was able to derived a sound day ahead.  She will only need to review and compare notes and she already had an idea that this will be a hectic day for her again.  Her boss will have two appointments today and its all about marketing strategy.  She then reviewed their client and their products to at least have an idea of what can transpire during the meeting.  She wants to be prepared and took note of the details that she deemed important.

She was no longer surprised when the door open and the "gigolo" entered.  She was already informed and she come prepared.

"Good morning, Boss! Coffee or tea?" Maine said in monotone.
"Do you want me?" RJ asked her.
"No, I only offered coffee or tea, not me nor you! Do you happen to have problems with your hearing, Sir?" Maine still said in monotone and not even glancing at him, still busy reading information regarding the client.
RJ, on the other hand, was annoyed.  He was greeted with a lot of drools this morning as he made way towards his "office" with half of RFJ population and he was already thinking if he could make a pass on one or two of their finest employees, and here is this "nerd", never even bothering looking at him. 

"Just to give you heads up, Sir, you will have meeting with Mr. Chan, regarding their marketing brand.  They would want to get our service for their ads on print and TV. And that will be two this afternoon. And with Ms. Cruz with regards to their launch." Maine brief him on his schedule today.
RJ was annoyed but he will not win over him.
He leaned down on her.  And he tried to make a pass on her.
"Hmmm, you smell nice... In fact, you smell like a virgin but...!" RJ said trying to annoy her.  Apparently, she did not even flinched.
"At least I smell nice unlike you, you smell as if you do the deed early in the morning... Freshen up, dude!" And she look at him directly in the eye without batting her eyelashes, she even had the guts to touch his face and tap it gently.
RJ, was flustered after what she did.  And cannot contain his annoyance and walked out on her.
But before that, she called him and he looked back which he regret right away upon hearing what she said.
"My sexcapades are limited to those whom I have bedded to talked about, especially here.  And you don't and will never earn a privilege to share my bed so back off, Devil Boss!" Maine said with a smirk and walked out of the office bearing the papers she needs to consult with other department.
RJ was left seething in anger.
"You filthy slut, you will regret and take back all you said!"
