The Boss' Nerd

After A Long Time...

Richard was surprised to see Maine dropped herself on the ground.

"And what do you think you're doing, Maine?" Richard asked.

Maine was surprised to see Richard.  She went up to do surveillance sa area if may nakasunid sa kanila, mahirap na baka pati ang ampunan madamay pa, kaya lang medyo nanghihina pa siya sa pagod kaya she decided to sit in the ground for a while!
"Checking out the perimeter! How about you, what are you still doing here? You should rest!" Maine said, iginala ang mata to check the perimeter.
"Andito ako para magbantay, ikaw ang dapat magpahinga kasi ikaw ang mas pagod at may mga sugat ka pa!" Richard said, still irritated kasi tumayo ang dalaga instead of resting.
"Boss, I have been in the worst situation than this and I'm still standing in front of you db? So wala lang ito, maliit na bagay!" Maine said, and got up and walked towards the gate.
"Let me do that, Captain! Don't come near the gate, ako na lang!" Richard said and run towards the gate.  He checked the perimeter for almost fifteen minutes and make sure na wala talagang nakasunod sa kanila.  When he confirmed that everything is clear, he turned back and saw Maine was already sitting at the sofa.  He sat himself as well.

Richard : Kumusta pakiramdam mo?

Maine : OK na, maliit na bagay! Clear ba lahat?

Richard : Yap! Clear! Walang nakasunod...

Maine : Good... Very good...

Richard : Why don't you rest?

Maine : I'm no longer sleepy.  You should take your much needed rest.  Mukhang natakot ka kanina e. (with a smirk)

Richard : No, I was scared for you, nawala kayo sa kanya kanina, tapos I heard you were down from Peralta and then someone whacked the headphones, based sa mga tunog kanina...

Maine : No, I was knocked down same thing I knocked you down earlier.  Medyo nagulat lang ako kaya hindi ako nakaresponse agad sa tanong niya.  I am the one who whacked the headphones, we were bugged.

Richard : But how did you know that?

Maine : If you were sensitive to sound, you will hear that someone breathed when Peralta knocked me down, medyo napalakas ang paghinga niya ng marinig ang panic sa boses ni Peralta, after few breathes from that bug, you have spoken, asking our location.   It is then I decided to take off the headphones!

Richard : You don't know how afraid I am during those time! I can't contact you and I thought something dreadful happened to you! I have been there, Maine! Been to a place where everything is vague and then suddenly when I knew everything it was too late! Too late! (Remorse evident on his face)

Maine : Boss, I've done that to make sure everyone is safe! I have decided to took off the communication para walang makakaalam ng mga lokasyon natin...

Richard : Ganyan din ginawa nila sa akin dati.  I thought everything is okay.  But then all of a sudden I was left devastated after knowing the truth.  Alam mo ba yung pakiramdam na naiwan ka sa ere at nung malaman kung bakit hindi nila sinabi sa iyo ang dahilan! Hindi mo alam yun!

Maine :  And who are you to think and judge my decisions? I am still your captain when we are on the battle field.  Wala kayong ibang gagawin kundi tulungan ako at manatiling buhay pagkatapos ng laban! Tama na ang isang sakripisyong buhay para sa kaligtasan ko!

Richard : What do you mean?

Maine : Ikaw? Sino nang-iwan sa iyo sa ere?

Richard and Maine glared at each other.  They fought until they felt na walang patutunguhan ang usapan nilang dalawa.  Walang magsasalita at magpapaliwanag sa mga nasabi na nila.  Maine, however, made a sudden move that made her flinch! Medyo napasama ang galaw niya kaya napangiwi ito sa sakit! 

"Nasaktan ka ba? Mag-ingat ka kasi sa pagkilos!" Richard said, irritatingly...

"Wala kang pakialam! I know what I am doing, I am still your captain here! Walang oras lang ang hawak mo sa akin dahil boss kita sa mga oras na yun! Pero gusto mo sumama sa team KO kaya ang mga natitirang oras mo sa isang araw ay hawak ko!" Maine said, banas na banas!
Richard realized her advantage at mas lalong nairita! He just turned his back on her and lie down a bit! Close his eyes to calm down...

Maine then left staring at this bipolar guy! Gusto niya ipalo ang unan sa mukha nito dahil sa inis! At bago pa makagawa ng hindi maganda dito, ipinaling ang mukha sa ibang direksiyon! Pinagmasdan ang paligid niya upang makalma.  She was pulled out of her reverie when she heard someone snore!

"Hala, nakatulog na ang tukmol!" Maine said to herself.  She were about to leave when she suddenly found herself staring at his face!

"Guwapo talaga ang tukmol na ito, kaya may karapatang habulin ng mga babae e! Sayang ka, sayang ang lahi mo!" Maine said to herself.

"But come to think of it, he is frowning on his sleep! Ano kaya ang panaginip mo at pati sa pagtulog mo e suplado ka? " Natawa si Maine sa naisip...
"Akalain mo yun! Malamang malungkot ang buhay nito kasi kahit sa panaginip suplado pa rin, kunot pa rin ang noo! Hayyy, what happened to you that makes you that bitter? Maayos naman ang buhay mo, in fact you have everything.  Even your parent's love and support!"  Maine said in monologue...

"He is a hard shell to cracked and let me see how you can charm him to become one!" Someone said to her, taking her gaze away from him...
