Upon seeing Maine first thing in the morning, he remembered how he was played upon. Truth be told, he didn't have enough sleep because he is thinking of that nerd! Imagine, that nerd is really the one he talked to as Dei at the bar and even Paolo connived with the scheme. E kung ano-ano pa naman ang sinabi niya Kay Paolo tungkol Kay Dei. Pakiramdam niya mukha siyang tanga at sa lahat ng ayaw niya yung nagmumukha siyang tanga. Masaklap pa Kay nerd pa!
Pero sa totoo lang, nashocked din siya na marunong pala mag-motor ang nerd na yun!
"Hoy, Richard! Anongmarunong? Magaling! At patisa clippings ng report kanina, angastig ng galaw!" His inner conscience said.
"Ahhh, shit! Oo na, pakshet kasing babae yan! Makikita mo, gaganti ako! Paglalaruan kita at pag naikama kita, who u ka sa akin!!!" Inis na sambit niya, but upon saying those words medyo pumait ang panlasa niya, but still decided to ignore that nagging feeling.
"Iisahan din kitang babae ka! Makikita mo! Of all people, ako pa talaga???" Richard said, still irritated.
And when he saw her, nairita na naman siya! At kailangan makaganti ako sa kanya!
When he was about to insult her, he saw that she is busy with her correspondence, he saw that she is really making sure that every details are appropriately noted for the next three days. Even agenda were all properly pinpointed that he is sure that even him, upon reading it, will be properly informed of everything. Ganun siya ka-metikulosa! He asked for a coffee casually to at least divert her attention to him but right after doing his coffee, she remained quiet and passive and did not mind him at all as if he is not in the same room. Nainis tuloy lalo siya! He made sure he looks extra handsome today, pati nga ngiti niya pinagpraktisan pa niya!

Para lang masiguro papansinin siya ni Nerd! Gusto niya nang umpisahan ang balak niya, apparently no pansin ang nerd kaya pumuputok ang butse niya at nasabi niya yun! Sobrang inis niya talaga at pakiramdam niya naubos ang lahat ng self-confidence niya sa katawan!
He saw her trying to compose her self but right after the last thing he said, she walked out and was surprised to see the tears on her face. Hindi niya alam kung bakit parang may mabigat na bato dumagan sa dibdib niya ng makita ang mga luha na iyon! He cannot move his feet, he felt numb!
Maine, on the other hand, was able to get downstairs and run to her "hiding" place. She dried up all her tears and scold herself for losing composure in front of that jerk!
"That good for nothing a**hole! He'll see, he'll see!" Galitnabantani Maine saisipniya. She decided to stay here paramakabawisainisniya! Aalis sana siyakayalangwalayungmgasasakyanniya! Fuck of all time nakailanganniya ng "escape" walasiyangsasakyan! She is mentally killing Richard while composing herself thinking of happy memories! Talking about multi-tasking, ibarin! After a while, when she is sure that she can face everyone again, she came out of her hiding place.
When she was about to step in the elevator she heard Nico called her name.
"Menggay!" Nico said. Maine then wait for Nico para Sabay nasila umakyat! When they came inside the office, kita nila na medyo tulala si Richard.
"Boss, good morning ulit!" Maine said, cold as ice, napatingin tuloy si Nico sa kanya! "Umm, Maine... I'm -- !" Richard started saying upon hearing Maine's voice again, but when he saw Nico, he suddenly stopped. "Boss, he will take it from here for the next three days. All the correspondence are ready plus all the notes you needed for the meetings. Apparently, we still have one appointment with Mr. T day after tomorrow... He said he wants to add a thing or two on the concept we have last agreed upon and then it will push through upon signing the final agreement, so I will be here that time., but rest of the next three days, you won't be seeing me!" Maine said, directly to Richard. Nagtagis ang bagang ni Richard upon hearing her business tone! But then he needs to stay on top of his head and just nod his head. Nico nodded as well, but he can still feel something was off!
Maine, upon hearing no questions from the two men, got her copy of the correspondence and passed each one to both of them para properly informed ang dalawa. No one will cry for incompetency on both end.
"Gentlemen, please compose yourself, we are talking about a multimillion company here that you will be handling for the next three days! Marami ang umaasa sa kompanyang into, kung may problems kayo, take it somewhere else! Not here or I will be hearing from the both of you!" Upon saying that, she took her leave and go to her table para magligpit.
"Nico, where's my ride?" Maine asked casually. "Here, catch!" At tinapon ni Nico ang susi Kay Maine. Upon realizing the key she is holding...
"Wooohhh, Nico! Sigurado ka?" Maine asked, namimilog ang mata!
"Yap! Para mabawasan ang bad trip mo!" Nico said and walked towards her after nodding to Richard.
"Yeyyy! I am a happy baby!" Maine yelled...
Oh, well who would not be happy if you were entrusted with an Audi R8! She is really one happy potato! Gone was her bad mood early this morning.

She was about to go out when she heard his brother called her.
"Sis, susunod ako din mamaya after ng office. Be strong okay?" Nico said.
"Sure, Kuya! I'll be fine and thank you!" Maine said, hugged her brother and took off her eyeglasses and go...
Richard, on the other hand, was left dumbfounded, as to why the sudden change of mood and that "smile"... He wanted to curse because of that smile!
" Wait, what's with that smile?!!" He felt as if the world is right again upon seeing that smile...
