"Dei, I want you to meet Richard, my friend... Richard, this is Dei, the new talk of the town. The new babe of the underground racing world!" Jerald excitedly introduced them to each other.
Dei was flabbergasted to see him, of all people!
"Ikaw????" Dei exclaimed.
Dei could not believe it! Of all places, kasali din siya sa grupo ng sindikato?!!
Richard, is thinking of the same thing! How can this nerd be part of this syndicate scheme? I thought kulang lang siya sa pansin? At bakit pati sila Paolo at Nico? Inimpluwensiyahan ba sila ng kutong-lupa na to??? Paano???
These were the thoughts running on each other's mind, however, you would not believe that panic inside when you are witnessing their facade. They appeared to be too calm as if everything is just a normal conversation between them. "Yap, ako ito! Cat got your tongue?" Richard asked with a smirk after a slight trance upon discovery. "No, dog do!" Dei answered sarcastically, however Jerald picked that one up as joke so he laughed hard. "That was nice, Dei! That was nice!" Jerald can't help but laugh again. "Lagi naman among benta sa iyo! Anyways, sino kalaban ko?" Maine said, dismissing Richard as if he was some pesky fly. "First muna si Sean, pag nanalo ka, akyat ka kay Cathy, and then the last three will battle and then for the finale, si Red.!" Jerald said. Upon saying that, both Maine and Richard's interest piqued and they both heightened their senses to make sure nothing is amiss.. "Okay, so I need to win at least four times to get the pot of money... Oh, well, that's some challenge!" Dei said, casually shrugged her shoulder off. "The players has been decided already, same with the mechanics, so yeah, that's how to get to the pot money, however, for us spectators, we are open for betting!" Jerald declared. "Ummm, as usual! So I'll go ahead na, para ma-check ko na ang baby ko! Ciao!" Dei said and turned her back to leave. "Mind if I join you?" Richard asked Dei casually. "Oo nga, Dei... Kababalik lang din yan, malakas pumusta yan, may aayusin pa din kasi ako for the race e!" Jerald said and leave right away, leaving Dei without nothing to say. She just slightly bow her head and walk towards Paolo and Nico!
Paolo and Nico was surprised seeing Richard following Dei. Upon reaching them, Paolo can't help but asked right away...
Paolo : What are you doing here? Its been a while!
Richard : Ummm, I just missed the days.
Paolo : Who's with you?
Richard : Kris although he went to the loo first. I have met with Jerald already.
Paolo : Oh, Okay! So are you going to bet some?
Richard : Born ready!
Paolo : Oh, well... Parang alam ko na kung saan ka pupusta! Its your money anyway...
Richard just smile.
"Bwisit! Malamang uubusin na naman nito ang pera ng kompanya! Ang kapal talaga ng face! Kainis!" Dei said inwardly.
Kris was able to see them and was talking animatedly to Dei. Dei, on the other hand, is enjoying the comical story telling of Kris and found herself laughing. Richard, at first, ignore them but as Dei's laughter is getting louder, it started to irritate him! He is fuming inside and wanted to strangle someone's neck and the things is he don't know who! Dei or Kris? Wtf!" Richard is getting angry every minute!
He was about to go near Kris and distract them when someone greeted him.
"Oh, hello there lover boy! Its been a while!" A woman wearing a skimpy skirt and a tube! Something clicked on his mind and played along...
"Oh, hello there! Yap, its been a while! How are you?" Richard asked and face the girl.
The others was distracted but no one commented. They just give him an eye! He just shrugged it off and continue flirting with the girl, stealing side glance towards Dei.
Dei, on the other hand, was surprised to see him openly flirting with some girl. She was surprised to feel somewhat disappointed or distracted, and she doesn't know why! Maybe its the girls outfit which in inappropriate in the place or its because this was the first time that someone in the team flirts with random girl.
"Ay, oo nga pala, hindi siya kasali sa team!" She said to herself but again was puzzled dahil parang nanghihinayang siya??? Aisssh, Ewan! Focus, Dei! Focus! You have a mission to think of... Concentrate! And she stole glance at smiling Richard before she decided to test drive her ducati! "Ready for test drive?" Dei asked Paolo and Nico after checking the machine. "You know the drill, Dei!" Nico said and put her helmet on before giving her the keys! "Got it, Captain!" Dei salute to him. "No, its you, Captain! Not me!" Nico said. Dei just smirk.
Richard, on the other hand, heightened his senses on Dei. He just face the girl but his full interest is with Dei. He found her smirking and found it too hot handle. Wohhh! And his where that thought came from??? He sighed to himself. The girl notice the distracted Richard after her long monologue, Richard just smile and left, leaving her alone and wondering! She just stomped her feet and turn her back to hook up with another! Richard absentmindedly walked towards the group, busy checking out Dei. She looked so damned hot even without too much skin! She has the aura of authority on her but not loud. Para siyang tahimik na Leon at walang nakakaalam kung ano ang iniisip niya at walang makakahula ng mga susunod na gagawin niya!

Nagulat pa si Dei ng pagsakay at pagharap niya ay mukha ni Richard ang nakita niya. Katabi na ito ni Kris at ni Paolo habang nasa kabilang side si Nico! Her heart jumped a little. "Asan ang kalandian nito? Bakit andito na to?" Dei asked inwardly but as usual shrugged it off! "Erase! Erase! Hindi ka apektado, Dei! Hindi ka apektado!" Dei chanted inwardly several times to calm herself...
"Ingat, Dei!" Kris said to her, doing side glance to Richard and smile when he notice his frown! "Bes, alalay lang muna, wala pa ang karera, mamaya na ang pasikat! Yung mga gadget, handa na ba?" Paolo said. "No problem, yap, gadgets and all!" Dei said with matching slight nod, giving Paolo a secret signal. "Yap, all over, five!" Paolo said, and nodded to her as well. "Copy!" And then pinaandar na yung motor, leaving everyone on their own thoughts!
