The Truth Is Finally Coming Out..

The breakfast was superb and Richard realized that this is the first time again he immensely enjoyed breakfast after his mothe died.

Yap, ever since his mother died, he only had breakfast anywhere, anytime or if kelan lang niya feel kumain. But today is different. The breakfast was prepared by Maine and it was sinfully delicious, aside from being comfortable with the company. Nakakamiss pala! An he was grateful that he was given another shot for this kind feeling. Akala niya never na ulit niya mararanasan ang ganitong contentment dahil sa mga katarantaduhan niya noon. But because of his "nerd", heto siya kontento na pinagmamasdan ang magandang "nerd" sa harapan niya, eating her food with much gusto! Ni hindi man lang naiilang sa kanya, unlike yung mga ibang girls na kulang na lang wag kumain pag kaharap siya sa sobrang concious and he hate it! He definitely hate it!

They were quiet in the table, as they were trained for it, except for the voice of Athena who animatedly telling Maine about her dreams.
"Ate Ganda, ikaw po ba ang nagluto?" Athena asked.
"Oo, why?" Maine asked.
"Sarap po e, marunong po ba kayo magluto ng pancakes?" Athena replied.
"Oo, yu want that for breakfast next time?" Maine replied.
"Opo e, favorite ko po kasi yun.." Athena said.
"Pati cookies and cakes, magaling magbake si Tita Maine!" Paolo said, nakihalo sa usapan.
"Talaga po?" Athena said, getting excited.
"Marunong naman kahit papaano. At ikaw? Gusto mo lang makalibre ng cookies e...!" Sabi ni Maine while giving Paolo a dagger look. Paolo did not even flinched.
"Pwedeng makikain din ng cookies?" Richard asked, voice getting excited. Napalingon si Maine sa binata.
"Uyyy, oo nga no? May sweet tooth ka nga pala, mahilig ka sa sweets!" Paolo said, suddenly remembered that details. Upon hearing those words, napatango na lang si Maine.
"Okay, later para sa meryenda!" Maine sighed and finished her food. She needs first to report to the general and updat herself as well of what is happening on the "outside". She excuse herself after her breakfast and got ready to meet her boss. She went to her office and made sure that nothing is tapped befor calling.

Meanwhile, Paolo, Richard and Athena are playing in th lawn. 

Athena : Tito Pogi, asawa mo na ba si Tita Ganda?

Paolo and Richard was surprised bu manage to stay calm.

Paolo : Why did you ask, little girl?

Athena : Coz I can see Tito Pogi's face lit up pag nakikita si Ate Ganda, pogi sia lalo po..

Napangiti si Richard sa sinabi ng bata, at bahagyang ginulo ang buhok ng bata.

Paolo : Ano nga ba ang sagot sa tanong ng bata ha, bes?

Richard : Hindi pa baby, pero pag pinalad si Tito, soon... Hindi ko na pakakawalan si Tita Ganda...

Napataas ang kilay ni Paolo sa.sinabi ng kaibigan pero tuwang-tuwa siya sa narinig.

Paolo : Bes, kaibigan kita pero mas matimbang siya, subukan mo lang lokohin ang friend ko, lahat ng bala ng baril niya, ibabaon ko sa katawan mo!

Richard : I would kill myself first kapag nasaktan ko ang kaibigan mo! I swear on my mother's grave!

Paolo : Ayun yon e! Wohhhh! Nahulog ka sa bitag mo! But then, believe na when I say na naniniwala ako sa iyo! I hav never seen you this happy right after Tita Rio passed away.  I just wish na maniwala din siya sa iyo, kasi that girl deserved everything gopd in this world. 

Richard : I know and I am praying na sana mapagbigyan ako ng tadhana na makasama siya habang buhay!

Paolo : Hooyyy! Ang mais mo na! Tama na, ang haba-haba na nang buhok ng girlaloo na yun! Naiinggit tuloy ako!

Natawa si Richard at si Athena sa pagtili ni Paolo.

Athena : Don't worry, Tito Pogi, I will pray po na magkatuluyan kayo.  Sigurado po sobrang ganda at pogi ng mga babies niyo!!!

Kinikilig pang sabi ni Athena na napapalakpak pa.

"Guys, we need to go.  12:00 hours meeting.  HQ...Urgent! " Biglang sulpot ni Maine, seryoso ang mukha.  Richard felt the seriousness of the situation upon seeing her facial expression.  Tumango siya agad maging si Paolo. 

"Athena, sama ikaw kay Tita Pao, maglinis na ikaw, aalis tayo ha?" Maine said to Athena at tinanguan si Paolo.  He understood and help the child from her sit and went up with her.

"Richard, we need to discuss some important information you need to know bago ang meeting later!" Maine said on a serious tone.  Richard nod and followed Maine. 

Kinuha ni Maine ang isang file sa drawer. 

"Richard, these files contains all the information you need to know about the Red Dragon Syndicate.  You need to know everything kasi damay ang warehouse ng RFJ Group of Companies!" Maine said for starters.
"What?? How come??" Richard was surprised.
"Richard, alam kong open knowledge sa iyo na RFJ Group is currently on the roks, thus, Mendozas was able invest on the company.  Faulkersons and Mendozas has been friends ever since and as family friend, Tatay wanted to help Tito na makabawi.  My parents wanted to help your family to protect the legacy of your mother!" Maine said.  Richard was shocked.
"Yes, RFJ Group was originally from Reyeses, but it is your father who made it that big.  It is your father who promised your mother's parents na hindi babagsak ang kompanang sinimulan nila at alam ito ng mommy mo kaya magkatulong nila itong itinaguyod.  Your mothe helped your dad by beung on his sid and taking care of his heir.  Its all your father's hardwork and intelligence that the company become what it is today.  He fulfille his pomise to your mother's parents!" Maine continued, she just observe Richard.
"And I almost wished and even olan to have this company run into the ditch? Anon klaseng tao ako? Anong klaseng anak ako???" Richard said, tears starting to fall, feeling hate to himself because of being unreasonable.  Maine went to him as she saw him breaking down.
"Shhh... Not your fault though, I, myself was surprised as well when I learned the truth.  But it is your mother's wish that the  ownership of the company be under the Faulkersons dahil alam ng nanay mo ang hirap ng tatay mo sa pagpapalaki nito.  She also wanted everyone to believe na isinalba ng Faulkersons ang kompanya ng Reyeses bilang pasasalamat sa pagtupad ng iyong ama sa pangako nio sa ma magulang niya.  Ganun nila kamahal ang isa't-isa!" Maine said, voice softening.  She got some papers from the file and let Richard see the flight made by the Faulkerson Sr, last year before his mother died. 
"Isa sa mga rason kung bakit mas napalaki pa ang gastusin ng medical expenses ninyo is because your father chartered private planes to Hongkong almost everyday after office hours just to be with your Mom.  Yung akala ninyong meeting at kung ano-anung business trip na sinasabi niya is actually a trip to Hongkong para umuwi sa hospital at bantayan ang iyong ina.  Nagkasundo sila na huwag sabihin sa inyo na nagpapagamot siya dahil ayaw niya panghinaan at masaktan kayo!" Maine said still hugging Richard. 
Lalong lumakas ang iyak ni Richard sa mga naririnig mula sa dalaga.  He felt na napakawala niyang kwenta dahil inakusahan niyab ang ama.  Ang kanyang ama na ginawa ang lahat para sa ina habang siya e busy sa paglalaro ng kanyang pera sa stocks at pagiging  undercover .  He accused his father na pabaya at irresponsible, whereas, siya dapat yun.  Dapat inalam niya ang totoong nangyayari bago nag-akusa.  Pakiramdam nia nanliliit siya sa sarili niya...
