When the two went out of the office, Maine screamed herself to death. Pulang-pula sa galit! She didn't expect na ang scumbag na yun ang matagal na niyang hinahanap! Fuc*** scumbag! Wait till I get my hands on you! You will regret that day! Maine remained in fury when her phone rang.

"Hello!" Maine answered the phone.
"HQ, 16:00" said someone on the phone.
She immediately gather her things and change into white T-shirt and jeans, same old Nicomaine attire! She immediately phoned her boss telling him, she has a client call at 4pm. She called in her assistant and asked her to received all the calls and forward all the details on her correspondence. She will check it later.

At the HQ, she was greeted by some of her colleagues. She did not bother to change into uniforms inside the headquarters since she is still undercover. Agad-agad na pumasok siya sa meeting room.

Lt. General : Capt. Mendoza..
Mendoza : Sir, good afternoon...
Capt. Santos : Buddy, musta?
Mendoza : Okay lang, ikaw buddy?
Capt. Santos : Safe pa!
Lt. General : Let's start. As we all know, we are dealing to one of the biggest drug syndicate right now. Maliban pa sa human trafficking. Captain Santos, was able to infiltrate smoothly, but we need not trust that he will always be safe.
Captain Santos : As of this moment, I am still safe. But I don't know about Mendoza.
Lt. General : Mendoza, now that we have unmasked the mastermind, how are you?
Captain Mendoza : I almost lost it, guys! I almost jump at my gun and drill bullet on to him!
Lt. General : Alam ko mga pinagdaanan mo, pero I want a firm commitment here that you won't get in the way while the operation is ongoing! We need hard evidence and patience is the key! Mendoza, can I trust your commitment?
Captain Mendoza : Sir, yes, Sir!
Lt. General : I will hold you liable on everything if you mess this one! This is an important operation, coz this will neutralize at least half of the drug operation here in the Philippines!
Captain Mendoza : Yes, gentleman, I will heed but I can't promise you I will not shoot given a perfect chance!
Lt. General : Kung hindi maiiwasan, I am giving you free reign. Just make sure that it was a necessity or accident!
Captain Mendoza : Sir, yes, Sir...

They discussed further the whole operation and it went on for hours. After the meeting was adjourned, Maine directly go to the last wake of Baste. As protocol, she should remain incognito in the armed forces.

She arrived at the place still wearing the same white shirt and jeans on her scrambler.  And as usual, people are staring at her when she came in.  She greeted everyone and asked for something to do.  She was given a tray of drinks and before she took it, itinaas niya muna ang isang manggas ng T-shirt niya, sa may parteng may sugat.  Unruly hair, light make-up since galing siya ng office, tuck-in ang isang side ng shirt sa ripped jeans.  She is an epitome of an innocent yet hot woman!  And she is not even aware of it!

"Shit! How can she manage to look like that even without trying! White shirt at ripped jeans lang suot niya, pero shit, ang hot niya!" Richard said inwardly while assessing her from his seat. 
"I dated a lot but no one was able to look like her!  She really is a stunner! So why hide it?!!!" Richard  shook his head wondering...

"Mabuti nga nakatago kung Hindi malamang ang dami mong karibal diyan!" Richard said inwardly. 

"Wait??? Where in the world that thought came from?? I just didn't ...!!!" Richard, speaking to himself in wonder...

"Boss????!!!" Maine blurted out upon seeing her boss in one of the pews. 

"Ang ganda mo ngayon!" Richard blurted out all of a sudden...

"What???" Maine said, deep frown etched on her face.

"I didn't fuck*** said that! I didn't !" Pinagalitan ni Richard ang sarili...

Maine, on the other hand, can't believe what she heard and pretended not to hear that.

"Boss, ano po ginagawa ninyo dito?" Maine asked casually.  Good thing she has been trained to never panic in tight situation.

"Ummm, hindi kasi kami natuloy, may biglaang tawag ang pinsan ko.  And since we parted ways ng maaga, baka we have missed some things sa meeting earlier, we can discuss it here.  I want no loopholes if ever!" Richard said, tuloy-tuloy! Good thing, hindi narinig ni Maine yung sinabi niya or else hindi niya alam paano niya babawiin!

"Oh, okay, boss! But as for the meantime, I need to help them, makakapaghintay po ba kayo or better yet papasok na lang po ako bukas ng morning before going here? Mga one hour discussion po...!" Maine said.

"No, okay na dito... I could wait...!" Richard said casually. 
"Okay, Boss! Will go back once done here!" Maine turn her back right away. 

"Wooohhh, muntik na ako dun!" I have never been this uncontrolled since I schooled myself in maintaining my composure especially on tight situations!" Richard said out loud.

"Ano sinabi mo,.friend?" Someone at his back, spoke and since he was caught unaware, he blurted out...

"Nasabi ko out loud na maganda si Maine, in front of her dude!" Richard again, nadulas ulit...

"Ano sabi mo? Tama ba pagkakarinig ko, sinabi Kay Bes na maganda siya????!!" The guy at the back said, flabbergasted.

"What the --!?" And Richard spun to his back and saw the smirk of his friends! Paolo and Kris...
