Nuisance

Maine is still shocked if his declaration, so she decided to take sometime to cool off at the venue's bar.  Richard was not able to follow her because he was being grilled by both families.  He was being bombarded with too many questions especially her family.  They want to know him better.  She was with Paolo again. 

"What just happened, Bes?" Maine asked, medyo tulala pa.

"Someone just asked permission to court you in front of your parents...!" Paolo said teasingly...

"But why? How come? I still cannot comprehend?" Maine said, kung ano-ano na lang nasasabi sa pagka tulala...

"Uyyy, Bes okay ka lang? Ngayon lang kita nakita na walang nasabi a!" Paolo asked.  He signalled the bartender to get a drinks for her.  White sangria to chill..

"Nakakagulat naman bes! Ang daming babae nun, bakit ako pa yata ang gustong pagtripan nun??" Maine said.

"Hindi kita pinagtitripan, I really like you... A lot... If you will just allow me to prove it to you, please?" Richard suddenly said.  Hindi nila namalayan na nakalapit na pala sa kanila ang binata...
"Huh? A, e..!" Maine still can't find the right words.
"Please..." Richard said, sincerity laced his voice.
Maine can't help but see the sincerity on his eyes.  Something is drawing her to him and before she could stop herself...
"Prove it..!" Maine said with conviction.
"You mean -- ?" Richard said, can't help himself to smile brightly.
"A chance, Lt., a chance...!" Maine said with a small smile on her lips.
"Thank you, Captain! Thank you.. And I will not waste this chance...!" Richard said, holding her hands... She can't help but feel stunned, if not for the sudden distraction of a noise, she would definitely swoon on that bright smile on his face.

"Captain, target on sight... Target on sight... Two birds has just landed...!" A message came from the receiver on Maine's ear.  Maliit lang ito na animo headset lang...

"Copy, position eagle?" Maine said that made Paolo and Richard frown.  Maine saw their reaction and discreetly show them her receiver.  It was place on her ear, behind her side hair bun.  Paolo and Richard didn't say anything, at disimuladong humarap sa crowd to scan the area...

"Good, I am at the bar right now.  Don't look on my my way guys, no unnecessary movements.  Act natural...!" She said, her hands of her head as if nursing it... The mouthpiece is attached on her watch. 

"Action". She said as she spied on the main door their target.  Maine took Richard's hand to signal him na humarap sa kanya. 

"Boss, your drinks, please?" Maine asked.
"Blue Hawaiian" Richard said.
"Then Blue Hawaiian it is... And one white sangria again please.!" Maine said.  She was about to drink her sangria when somebody greeted them...

"Insan, its been a while...!" Jeremy said, greeting Richard.
"Oh, hello, bro! Drinks?" Richard greeted him back and toss his wine glass towards Jeremy.
"Yap! Thug Passion please!!!" Jeremy ordered drinks right away.
"Who's your date? Hinahanap ka nila Angela ahhh, miss ka na daw nila! Kulang daw sila ng bed exercise!" Jeremy said, walang preno!
Namula si Richard, napahiya, but didn't say anything.  Nagulat si Jeremy pagharap sa direksiyon ni Maine.
"Wohhh, hello there, lovely lady! Where have been all my life?" Jeremy said.
"Sana kinanta mo na lang, Sir! At palagi na po tayong nagkikita...!" Maine said sarcastically.
"Wee, talaga ba? Ngayon lang kita nakita... Kung nakita na kita noon pa, malamang naikama na kita!" Jeremy said.
"Assh***! Susiguraduhin ko na sa susunod nating pagkikita bala ko na ang babaon sa katawan mo!"  Maine said inwardly!
"Jeremy, stop it! Fiancee ko siya, at huwag mo siyang babastusin!" Richard said, anger laced his voice.  Gusto niyang sapakin ang pinsan pero ayaw niya mag-create nf eksena dito...
"Wohhh! Kaya pala ayaw mo na sumama sa mga lakad natin kasi mag-aasawa ka na! Oh, well! Maganda siya ha?" Jeremy said, with a malicious smirk on his face!
"Fuck you... Get your hands off her and don't ever dream it will even happen!" Richard said, danger in his voice.  Malapit na siya mag-snap!  Maine took his hands and smile at him to calm him down.
Maine got her hands on his arms to calm him down. 
"Stop, bangag siya!" Maine whispered to him. 
"But still, he has no right na bastusin ka!" Nagpipigil na sabi Richard sa dalaga..
"Shhh... Just keep your cool!" Maine said, warning on her voice.
"What's your name, pretty lady?" Jeremy asked.
"Maine." Maine said, poker face.
"Hmmm, nice name... I've heard that name but apparently she is not as beautiful as you...!" Jeremy said.
"Huh?" Maine remained poker face.
"Di ba, Richard yung nerd na sekretarya mo, Maine din ang pangalan? How come they share the same name, when they are totally way apart.!" Jeremy said.
"I am one of the same.!" Maine said, coldness laced her voice, that even Paolo and Richard felt chills.
"Whatever, anyways, can I dance with you?" Jeremy said, immediately took her hands.
"Get your filthy hands off me!" Maine said, deadly glare was already directed to Jeremy.
"Took your hands off her, Insan o kakalimutan ko na pinsan kita!" Richard said, anger is now very evident on his face.

"Wooahhh! Sorry!" Jeremy said, binitiwan agad ang dalaga.
Jeremy is now aware of the threat that was directed at him.  He was surprised to see the seriousness of the situation at first time niya nakita si Richard na magalit ng dahil lang sa babae.
"O, ayan! Akala mo napakaganda mo! Ayoko sa mga trying hard na kagaya mo, lucky you kasi andiyan ang pinsan ko or else you will regret the day you have met me!" Jeremy said with warning.
"Then bring it on...!" Maine said, naghahamon ang tinig.
"Why you???" Jeremy is about to slap her when...

"Do it, and you will regret this day!" Richard said, niyakap agad ang dalaga his back on Jeremy's side.

Jeremy was about to retaliate when his father came to intercede.
"Jeremy, stop that!" His father said in dangerous said. Tumahimik agad si Jeremy.

"Good evening! Pasensiya na kayo... Medyo hindi lang maganda ang araw ng anak ko!" Jeremy's father said. Something on his voice gave Maine a chill.  She felt something is off and she needs to find it out.

The father and son tandem walked over to their parent's table. They just stayed their and observe clearly.  They were surprised when they saw that Jeremy and his father walked out with a dim expression and a warning glare towards Faulkerson, Sr and Mendoza senior!

Maine could not help it but run towards their table and was surprised to hear Jeremy's father said...

"Make sure your children is not involve on this or I'll make sure both of them will never see daylight again!" And he stomped his feet and turned his back on them.

"We need to talk and this is important, take Richard with you and follow us upstairs...!" Faulkerson Sr, said to Maine when he saw her an earshot away from them.  They both know that Maine was able to hear the last words of Jeremy's father based on her grim expression...
