Training (Part 1)

"Sasama ka sa amin sa ayaw at gusto mo! Nanalo ako sa bet so you better come with me, young lady!" Richard whispered to her just before they went to the starting line.
"But -- !" Maine was about to protest but Richard silenced her with his fingers on her mouth.

Paolo was not oblivious of what's happening with the two and he is starting to see that the two has already leveled up. Level up means they are starting to get each other under their skin. They were oblivious as well of the curiosity of other people seeing their banters. They were like watching a love story unfolding to their very eyes.

Paolo nudge Nico on his arm and point the two in front of them. Nico, on the other hand, has been observant as well. Napapansin na din niya ang pagiging absentminded at apektado ng kapatid kapag nakikita o kasama niya si Richard. He can't help but notice as well how Richard stare at her little sister. He stare at her as if he seeing her is always the first time. Yung tipong nabibigla pa pag may ginawa si Menggay. Yung parang automatic kung nasaan si Menggay, doon babagsak ang tingin nito! He has reservation and he will go through him! He has reservation because he know him to be a womanizer. But according to Paolo, he was not like that before. And he had his own reasons, however, whatever reasons he may have, he will not allow her sister be toyed by his angelic face! Her sister deserve the best of the world and if he will do everything for her sister not to get hurt again. She is still hurting up until now and no one should make her more vulnerable!
He saw that Maine and Richard are talking about something and Richard was able to silence her with a shush... He can never do that to Maine... She won't allow it, but with Richard able to do that something is really bugging her little sister and he would find what is that!

They were able to line up and the the four of them positioned themselves at the back. Maine will be in charge of the excess baggage as she always do. The first four will help the two kung kailangan umakyat sa mga baging! They will help pulling these two while she will guide the two with their techniques! She briefed everyone in what to do and how to assist each other! After the briefing they are called on for the position.

Tiningnan ni Mane ang benda kung mahigpit ito. She even tested kung may sakit pa sa pamamagitan ng pagpitik nito sa ibabaw ng benda niya.

"Makirot ba?" Richard suddenly asked her nang mapansin na tiningnan ng dalaga ang sugat!

"Hindi na. Tuyo na din siya kaya no pain... Okay lang ako, don't mind me, mind them, help them, okay? Can I trust with that, Lt.?" Maine said to Richard.

"I will pero sigurado ka bang kaya mo?" Richard asked.

"I organized this, Lt. Sa tingin mo ipapahamak ko ang sarili ko? Ako na bahala sa sarili ko, tulungan mo na lang sila..!" Maine said.  Inayos na ang bandage ng braso at umayos na, naghintay ng hudyat!

And the signal was given, nagsimula na ang oras.  At katulad ng napagkasunduan, nauna ang apat na kasamahan kasunod si Paolo, tapos si Nico, si Richard at si Maine ang dulo! Napapasigaw pa si Paolo ng idapa ang sarili sa putikan!

"Bes, I didn't signed up for this... Kadiri!  Ang daming mga germs nito.  Baka masira ang skin ko!" Sigaw ni Paolo... Balewala na ito sa iba dahil kilala na nila ang "dalaga", natatawa na lang sila sa inarte nito, habang si Richard e parang nabingi! Sa likod ka ba naman ng "babaeng" ito e! Maine can't help but laugh at Paolo!
"Hoy, babae! Wag ka sumigaw! Nagigising ang mga paniki sa paligid! Baka lumipad sa ibabaw natin, mag labas ng bombs, sasaluhin mo ba?" Sabay gapang sa ilalim ng barbed wire!
"Ewww! Kung hindi mo lang ako hahabulin ng bala ng sniper rifle mo, never akong gagapang dito, sasalo pa ng pupu! Pagkatapos nito, who u ka talaga sa akin! Aray! Ano ba, RJ? Manipa ba?" Paolo complain.

"Bikisan mo, malayo na yung kalaban! Pag natalo tayo dito, iiwanan kita! Ipapacancel ko ang imbitasyon mo mamaya ng gabi! Sasama ka sa nagbabantay dito!" Richard said, warning on his eyes!
