The Revenge (2)

After what happened, they decided to meet up at their safehouse! They were about to devise a plan para malansag na grupo.  They also need some answers to the questions of where do they get her identity and how do they know that it is her when she was still undercover! Maine got an assurance from her family that Nico is already out of danger.  Talagang panakot lang ang nangyari, they did not intend to kill Nico! Their moved was well calculated. 

When they arrived to their safehouse, they were all surprises to see the general, Mr. Mendoza and Mr. Faulkerson, Sr sitting at the living room of the safe house!

"Good evening, gentlemen!" The general said to great everyone...
"Sir, Mendoza platoon, reporting, Sir!" Captain Mendoza greeted the general with the whole team!
"Carry on!" The general said.
"Take your seats, gentlemen! We need to discuss something important!".  Everyone was seated on their assigned seats after a minute. 
"Hindi na ako magpapaligoy-ligoy pa! Based in our Intel report, Captain Mendoza, your identity has been breached!" The general said!
"But how? Meron na naman bang ahas sa grupo na to?" Maine asked through her gritted teeth!
"No one betrayed you but we found out that someone bugged the company.  And apparently it just happened recently.  Good thing is that we have already evidences that those two are really connected to Red Dragon Group!" The general said.
"Just give me the go signal, General! I will ready the team!" Maine said with a smirk.
"No!" The general said.
"Huh? What???" Maine asked, stunned.
"You heard me, alam ko na matagal mo nang gustong malansag ang grupo na yan but thus us the right time.  We should plan everything carefully para hindi na makawala pa kahit sino sa kanila.  They were just two of the big bosses, we also want to know who are their protector.  Hindi kikilos ang mga yan kung walang protector!" The general said.
"Then if my identity has been breached, are you telling me that I need to withdraw from this team?" Maine asked, directly looking at the general's eyes. 
"Yes, you will be pulled out from the team!" The general said.
"What???" Maine asked stunned!  This will be the first time and apparently she didn't even started her revenge over this fuc**** syndicate.
"Yes, you will be relieved from the team, you will be sent to an out of town mission so as to let the RD Group believe that you were really pulled out from the team and that the warning they did is enough to scare the group as well as your parents!" The general said.
"Enlighten me!" Maine said, poker face.
"What I mean is I will be sending you over sa teritoryo ng kalaban!" The general said.
"What???" But instead of Maine, Mr. Mendoza and the Faulkersons reacted while Maine had a smirk on her face!
"You heard me, I will be sending her over to their biggest market and let's see if the fully breached your identity, if they could recognize you sa other than today!" The general said.
"But Jeremy knows me on my nerd getup.  Nakasalamuha ko na siya ng ilang beses!" Maine said.
"Then use another getup! Do your thing as DPA, Captain! Do wonders or else...!" The general said with finality.
"But who will be with her? She will be facing the enemy head on, especially if the enemy has her identity already?" Richard voice out the questions everybody was about to ask!
"You will be tailgaiting her through your van! You will keep a tracker on her and you will be posted at least a thousand meters away from her, in case!" The general said.
Richard was about to protest when Maine said.
"Cool!! I like the challenge I will take it on!" Maine said with a deadly smirk on her face.
"Then its on! And you, both of you (pointing to Mr. Mendoza and Mr. Faulkerson, Sr), watch her from the side!" The general said, awe on his voice.  Ever since he knew this daredevil lady, he was amazed by her...

The patriarchs didn't say anything but to keep quiet.  After the general had spoken, Maine took over the meeting.
"Thus mission will be exciting and let me know who among you is not ready yet!  This will be suicidal coz we will be sent over to our enemy's territory, so yung gustong mag-back out, go! I will not take this against you, guys!" Maine asked.
Everyone kept quiet for a while as if weighing the consequences of the mission.  Maine saw some passing of hesitation on the eyes of three colleagues and she understood why.  They have families to feed plus their children are still young to stand on their own if ever something bad happened to them.  And right that moment, she took the liberty as a Captain to relieve them on this mission.  They protested but after explaining to them her reasons, they accepted it.  They will be reassigned under general's squad and will took their leave for a while. So needless to say, they were already down to a dozen! However, another two will be taken out of the action since they were both civilian agent and Nico is currently on bed.  So it will be ten of them to be put inside the enemy's den.
"Guys, you don't have to fight them head on, you just need to gather information while checking if Captain Maine's can still pull off to work with this team.  Kasi pag talagang bistado na siya, we need to hide her or do the Intel outside the battleground or else she will become the reason for this mission to fail!" The general said.
"Isang linggo lang naman to check if info has been passed regarding your captain's identity and if not then balik sa dating gawi, we will have a new plan!" The general said.

Paolo has been quiet for sometime now and without hesitation, he suggested an idea that can be the best solution to all. 

"Why don't the two of you played husband and wife? A newly weds that is looking for a house to rent? That way, we could have a legit reason to go over that place and roam.  May reason pa for asking questions regarding people living there, db?" Paolo said.
"What the --? Bes???" Maine was taken aback by Paolo's suggestion. 
"That suggestion could be best at least pag nagkaipitan, nakabuddy system pa rin ang infiltrator at may back-up for everything!" The general said.
"So needless to say, Captain you will be the "wife"... Now as for the "husband" -- !" The general started saying...
"I will play the " husband" !" Richard said right away, without hesitation.
"Well, my son is good with tactical operations, kaya he can do the planning while they survey the enemy's lair.  Isa pa, engage naman na sila so hindi malayo sa realidad!" Mr. Faulkerson Sr said, teasing them. Maine was about to protest when..
"Then if that's the case, then Captain, do it.  The soonest, the better.  We need to make sure your safety plus we need to pull this mission off or else heads will roll again!" The general said, with a hint of a warning on his voice.
Maine, felt responsible for this mission to fail plus her thirst for revenge over Jeremy, accepted the challenge!
"In two days, we will be on position! We will follow the plan but details will be discussed tomorrow at 9:00 hundred! Make sure everyone is present, those ten I mean! Any questions?" Captain Maine asked.
"None, Captain!" Lt. Santos said, a teasing smile on his face.
"Then be ready for the questions I will be asking of you tomorrow regarding that place.  I need at least the complete map of the place! Para if ever magkagipitan, may ibang way for us to escape them!" Captain Maine said...
"Let's do this...!" She added.
"Good luck to us and this mission!" Maine added.

"Yes, good luck to each and everyone especially to the newly weds!" Paolo said, with a sly grin.
