Old Love-Stefan Salvatore

    You were Katherine's best friend back in 1864 and were also a vampire. She saved you from your death by helping you out of the church that one dreadful night. Then asked you to stay and help Stefan with his new vampirism. You helped him with everything. At first, things were awkward since he really only saw you as Katherine's best friend. Plus he was angry at Katherine, you remember the first time he brought it up.

"Did you know Katherine was compelling me to be with her?" asks Stefan staring at you suspiciously as you sit next to him at a lake in Georgia with him not really trusting you yet

It has only been a few days since he was turned and you have to admit he isn't really the best person to have turned into a vampire.

You let out a sigh as you run your fingers through your curly styled hair

"I knew she was compelling you to not be afraid of her being a vampire, Mr.Salvatore. But I swear I wasn't aware she was compelling you to love her." You answer honestly

"Why are you helping me now, Ms.Y/N?" He asks curiously as he sits down next to you

"Because I know Katherine would want me too, Mr.Salavtore. She really had feelings for you." You answer softly smiling at the confused new vampire

After some time he started to see you as his best friend then soon after he saw you as something more. Stefan remembers clearly one of your guy's first deeper conversations after he realized his feelings for you.

Stefan sat next to you on the porch step of the house you guys were staying at in Georgia. You sat down your cup of blood next to you.

"Ms.Y/L/N, can I ask you something?" asks Stefan nervously

"You can ask me anything, Mr.Salavtore." You answer showing the boy your dazzling smile

"You won't leave me,right? I don't think I can do this whole vampire thing with out you by my side." says Stefan sheepishly

"If I have any say in it, Mr.Salvatore, I will not leave you." You reassure the boy placing your hand on his knee

Stefan smiles before pulling you into a tight hug. One you return smiling as well.

Sadly a few hours before he was about to tell you about his feelings you were tragically killed. Devastated Stefan turned into a ripper, but this time Lexi had to help him turn his humanity on. He thought about you a lot even when he was with Elena he couldn't stop thinking about you. You didn't know that because when he found Elena you thought he would be fine, that's when you left the other side for peace.

  When he died the first thing he did was look for you in peace. Searching for you non-stop until he finally found you by the lake reading a book. He ran to you then tackled you in a hug you. Of course, you were shocked to see him dead.

You sat the lake peacefully reading a book not noticing the ex-vampire a few feet away from you. Stefan heart beats loudly as he smiles largely before he rushes towards you. He tackles your shocked figure in a hug never wanting to let go of you.

"Mr.Salvatore, what are you doing here?" You ask happy to see him but confused

"It's a long story and I'll tell you later I promise but right now I just want to be with you." He chuckles pulling back to see your beautiful face

"I missed you so much, Ms.Y/L/N." he says wiping away a few stray tears falling onto your face

"I missed you as well, Mr.Salvatore." You say softly smiling before pulling Stefan into another hug

It has now been a few months and you guys haven't left each other's side since then. You showed Stefan all around peace and taken him to a few of your favorite spots. But now you both lay in Stefan's bed at the boarding house. You were asleep while Stefan was awake staring at you as peacefully sleep. He smiles as he reaches out brushing a piece of your hair out of your face. You wake up to see him smiling at you and can't help but smile at him.

"Hello." You say softly looking up at him

"Hey." says Stefan his smile growing

"Can I tell you something?" asks Stefan sitting up nervously

"Of course, anything, Mr.Salvatore." You say sitting up as well

"I.....I'm in love you." Stefan says

"What?" You choke out shocked by this new information

"I'm in love with Y/N. I have been since 1870. I was gonna tell you the day you died at the lake over a picnic. I love you more than I have ever loved Caroline, more than Elena, and definitely more than Katherine. I love you, Y/N." says Stefan smiling at you nervously

"I love you too, Mr. Salvatore." You admit smiling

Stefan's smile grows as he reaches out pulling you into a passionate kiss, both of you smiling into the kiss just happy to finally be together. It may have took a few hundred year but boy was it worth it.

Stelena or Delena? I like both but if I was in Elena's shoes I have would have picked Stefan over Damon. (No hate to Damon because I love him as well, I just like Stefan a little more)
