You sit on your couch eating some popcorn alone on Halloween. You weren't really in the mood for a Halloween party. Since last weekend you went too a party and got a horrible hangover so you aren't really ready for another one of those. Your parent are out of town on some business trip. You have been to admit it's a bit spooky being all by yourself on Halloween night. So you decided not to torture yourself by watching any scaring horror movies. So there you sat on your couch watching Hocus Pocus. The occasionally trick or treater came by and you could grab the candy bucket you have then go to the door. The doorbell rings and you stand up thinking it's a trick or treater heading to the door. But instead of seeing a cute little kid in a Halloween costume, you see your friend, Matt.
"Matt, what are you doing here?" You ask semi shocked because you though he had some test to study for and couldn't hang out
"I finished early and I knew you weren't doing anything so I thought I would come over and hangout with you." says Matt shrugging
"Glad to know you only came over because of boredom." You jokingly say causing him to chuckle and roll his eyes at you
"So can I come or-?" says Matt
"Of course. Come on in we can watch my movie together." You say letting Matt in
He smiles at you as you shut your front door after setting the candy bucket outside deciding you didn't want to deal with the tricker or treater now that Matt's here with you.
"Come on." You say grabbing his wrist dragging him over to your couch
"Wait I need more popcorn." You realize before heading into the kitchen as Matt laughs at you watching as you skip into the kitchen
You lean on Matt as you eat popcorn watching the tv intensely loving Hocus Pocus. Matt smiles at you finding it cute how in gross you are in this Halloween movie. Soon you notice his staring.
"What?" You ask blushing a little as you turn to look at Matt
"You just look really pretty today." says Matt smiling
"Thanks." You say your blush deepening
Impulsively Matt leans forward and presses his lips to yours.
"I like you, Y/N." says Matt smiling nervously as they pull apart their foreheads leaning against each other's
"I like you too, Matt." You say grinning at him largely
Matt smiles before he pulls you into another sweet kiss.
I liked Matt before season 9. They sort of ruined his character in season 9. He went from sweet Matty blue eyes to bitter Matty blue eyes. I wish they wouldn't have done that whole Penny dies thing to Matt. Like first Elena (his first love) leaves him for Stefan, his mother kisses Ty, his mother dies, and Vicky dies. Like they just sort of beat Matty. Why couldn't they give him a nice ending with Penny?
