Shakarie and KJ park in some new restaurant's parking lot that opened down the street from where KJ films Riverdale. Shakarie and KJ have been dating since they were 17 years old. Shakarie actually decided to go to a university in Vancouver. KJ followed and then soon landed a job as Archie Andrews on Riverdale.

"I can't wait to try this new restaurant." says Shakarie excitedly as they get out of the car

"Me either babe." says KJ Apa smiling down at Shakarie placing his arm over Shakarie's shoulders as they head towards the restaurant

As they do, Shakarie notices people staring at them obviously recognizing KJ. Shakarie could tell KJ had noticed too because he stares at them a second. He then does something more that sort of confuses and shocks Shakarie. KJ quickly presses Shakarie to his side hiding Shakarie from the view of the people staring. Shakarie frowns a little at this action.

Why would he hide me from them? thinks Shakarie

"So how is university going?" asks KJ interrupting Shakarie's thoughts

Shakarie decides to ignore what happened and forget out about it until it happens again.

Shakarie and KJ decided to go on a date to the boardwalk. Where people would come up to him and ask for autographs. Every time KJ would push Shakarie behind him and try to hide Shakarie from their view. Shakarie found this weird until it happens one more time at the movie theatres. Eventually, Shakarie and KJ stopped going out together. One night, they had planned to go to an ice skating rink. Last minute, KJ decided he wanted to stay in and he convinced Shakarie to stay in with him. Ever since then, the two haven't gone out publicly.

But tonight there was a huge party going on at her university and Shakarie really really wanted to go. A bunch of her friends are going and she really wants KJ to go with her.

"Hey, tonight there is a big party at my school and I wanted to know if you wanted to go with me." Shakarie says over the phone to KJ as she sits in her dorm

"I, uh, I don't really want to babe. I'm not really in the partying mood." says KJ making Shakarie's mood fall

She knew KJ and she knows that KJ is always up for a party. She has never, not once, heard him decline going to a party.

"But I'll be there soon and I brought dinner. Love you bye." says KJ

"Love you too." squeaks out Shakarie before she hangs up

Shakarie throws her phone on the bed before she starts nervously pacing around her room.

Is KJ embarrassed to be seen with me?...Does he have another girlfriend or something and he doesn't want her knowing about me? Is he cheating on me? Am I really that embarrassing to be seen with that my own boyfriend won't go out with me? thinks Shakarie tears now flowing down her face

"Babe, I'm here and I have- what's wrong?" says KJ walking into her dorm room to see a crying Shakarie

"Are you embarrassed to be seen with me?" asks Shakarie looking at him as he sets the food down

KJ's expression instantly changes from one of concern to confusion at this question.

"Of course not." answers KJ walking towards Shakarie

"Why would you think that?" asks KJ wiping away Shakarie's tears with his thumbs as he holds Shakarie's face in his hands

"Because you never want to go out anymore and whenever we did you would like hide me from everyone, KJ. What was I supposed to think?" answers Shakarie a little annoyed
