Archie Andrews and Y/N Y/L/N an iconic duo here at Riverdale High School. Nobody ever saw one of them without seeing the other. The classic cheerleader and football couple, a bit of a cliche, but nether-less the two were the cutest couple ever. Archie's father loves you and your mother loves Archie. The two of you have been friends since you were little and have been dating since the eighth grade. If there was one couple at Riverdale High School that people thought are going to get married it would be you two. Until the two of you broke up.

Betty never did find out what the break up was about neither of you would say. Which is weird since Betty is both you and Archie's best friend. Archie and you tell her everything, but this.

You stand in the girl's locker at Riverdale High School digging through your cheer bag trying to find your other sock. While you think about what you are getting Jughead for Christmas. You drew Jug's name for the secret Santa thing Betty decided you all should do.

What would Jughead want for Christmas? You think until a voice knocks you out of your thoughts

"Are you ever going to tell me what happened that caused the two of you to break up?" asks Betty

Her question causes you to sigh.

"Betty, for the last time, I don't want to talk about this." You say as you find your sock

"But why? What happened that so bad that you won't even about it?" questions Betty as you pull your sock on

"Betty, just give it up. I'm not telling you." You say before you walk away

"Betty, I'm not telling you." says Archie as Betty stands next to them as they walk home

"But why? Arch, just tell me." says Betty basically begging for the redhead to spill

"You really want to know?" asks the redhead after he lets out a big sigh looking at the Blonde

"Yes." answers Betty

"We got into a fight one night two weeks ago. The day we broke up. I had been drinking that night." says Archie looking down

"So when Y/N showed up, she tried to get me to stop, since I was still drinking some vodka or something. I got mad and we ended up getting in a fight. I ended up saying some nasty things, thing I regret." says Archie, a tear falling down his face as flashbacks of what he said to you that night run through his head

"Y/N walked out and told me things were over." says Archie

"Arch..." says Betty placing a comforting hand on his shoulder

"I just.....I just wish I could take anything back, B. I didn't....I didn't mean any of those things. I don't know why I said them." says Archie whining slightly as he remembered that night

Betty pulls the redhead into a hug knowing he needs one right now.

~2 Weeks Ago~

"Archie?" said Y/N as she walked into Archie's house

"Y/N!" greeted an obliviously very drunk Archie as he swings his arms around you

"Archie, you reek of alcohol." You said a little disgusted

"That's because I've been drinking this." says Archie holding up a half drunken bottle of vodka with a toothy grin on his face

"You want some?" offers Archie holding the bottle out to you

"Why don't you take a break from drinking for a little?" You asked going to take the bottle

"No way." answered Archie pulling the bottle away from you
