Matt Donovan smiles largely as you walk into The Grill with Elena and Caroline. His bright blue eyes are mainly on you. Matt has liked you for a long,long time even when he was with Elena, he sort of had feelings for you.
"Hey, guys." says Matt as he walks up to your table
"Hey, Matt." The three of you say in unison
"You guys want something to drink?" asks Matt and the three of you order so Matt walks away to your drinks
Matt walks back to find just you sitting at the booth.
"Where did the others go?" asks Matt curiously as he sets the drinks down
"Left, some vampire emergency came up." You answer with a sigh
You happen to be human like Matt.
"Well....I'll have lunch with you, if you want? I get off in about 5 minutes." says Matt a little nervously though he knew it wasn't a big deal
"Yeah, that sounds great." You say grinning
Matt smiles before he goes back to cleaning tables.
This is the only time there has been supernatural emergency that has actually benefited me and I like it. Matt think excited to spend time with you
Two hours later, Matt and you pull up to your house in Matt's truck laughing about some joke Matt told you.
"Thanks Matt, I had a lot of fun. Lunch was great." You say smiling
"Yeah, I had a good time too. I was, uh, thinking we could do this again, sometime, if you want?" says Matt
"Like as in a date?" You question instantly making Mart nervous
"Because if so, I definitely want too." You say smiling nervously
"Definitely as in a date." says Matt grinning
"Great." You say before you lean over and press a kiss to Matt's cheek
"Text me." You say before you hop out of Matt's truck leaving a very happy blue eyed boy
