Nightmares-Reggie Mantle

    You run fast trying to outrun the man in the black hood. You try to run faster even though you feel like you are about to pass out. You breathe heavily your legs burning as you run past trees. 10 minutes later, you decide to hide as you can't continue to run anymore. You find a tall bush and decide to hide behind it. You try to catch your breath as you sit down trying to keep a lookout still for the Black Hood.

Please, let me live. You think as you stare into the forest

Your heart is racing and you are tense with fear. Your stomach hurts from nerves and you are breathing heavily.

The Black Hood appears his gun in his hand as his eyes scan looking for you. Your sit there paralyzed in fear knowing you have nothing to defend yourself with.

I'm dead. You think as he heads closer to where you are

You try to keep still and silent not wanting to tip the Black Hood off about your whereabouts. You try to not scream as the Black Hood gets closer and closer to you. The words I'm dead keeps repeating over and over in your head.

The Black Hood start to past you when a bird lands on the bush. It immediately starts chirping like crazy catching the Black Hood's attention. He heads over to the bush causing the blood to drain from your face.

I'm dead this is it. I'm going to die. You think as he gets closer to you

The Black Hood makes it to the bush. You suck in a deep breath as he raises his gun thinking he must have spotted you. The gun goes off but instead of killing you he killed the bird. You stare shocked thinking maybe you would make it out alive.

"Found you." says the Black Hood with a smirk

You start to scream but don't as a bullet is shot through your skull.

You awake with a gasp your heart still racing from the nightmare you just endured. You already know you aren't going to be able to go back to sleep.

This is the third night in a row. You think with a sigh

You head into school the next day sporting dark under eye bags and your eyes are tired look.

It's going to be a long day. You think as you walk up to your locker

"Woah, what happened to you?" asks Reggie Mantle, your boyfriend, as he leans up against the locker next to yours

"Woah, thanks, Reggie, what a wonderful thing to say to your girlfriend." You sarcastically say as you roll your eyes

"Just tell me what's wrong." says a very serious Reggie Mantle as you shut your locker

Reggie Mantle only gets serious when he is really concerned or if something really tragic has happened.

"Reggie, it's nothing." You say before you start to leave

Reggie gently grabs your arm stopping you.

"Y/N..." says Reggie with a serious looking causing you to sigh since you know he won't leave you alone until you tell him

"I've been having nightmares about the Black Hood." You answer softly as you look down at the floor

"Babe." says Reggie as he pulls you into a hug

"Nothing is going to happen to you. I'm not going to let anything happen neither are your parents. We both are going to be just fine." says Reggie as he holds you tightly

"Okay." You agree softly as the two of you pull apart to smile at each other

"You coming to the big race today?" asks Reggie

"Of course." You reply before Reggie presses a sweet kiss to your lips

At the race, you sit next to Reggie on a truck waiting for the race to begin.

"Who did you bet on?" You ask Reggie knowing if there was a competition Reggie placed a bet

"Boy wonder's team." replies Reggie

"Archie has a plan." whispers Reggie

"What?" You ask hoping that the redhead didn't decide to do something stupid

"You'll see." says Reggie with a smirk

He did something really stupid. You think

"Not the kind of drag race I ever imagined myself going to, but at least the guys are hot." says Kevin making you laugh

"Some of them are quite cute Kev." You say as you look at one of the Ghoulie's

"Hey!" yells a pouting Reggie

"But you are the hottest guy here." You say giving a smile up to Reggie

"I know." says Reggie with a smirk as he swings his arm around you

You roll your eyes at him and that's when you think you see something. In the distance you see a man in a Black Hood staring straight at you. Your eyes widen before you shake your head coping your eyes as you do it and when you open him the man is gone.

Calm down, Y/N, you are just being paranoid. You think

"You okay?" asks Reggie noticing you had zoned out as Cheryl walks towards the front of the starred cars

"Yeah." You answer

Reggie gives you a look but decides not to press you any farther.

Everyone cheers as Cheryl starts the race and they continue to as the cars zoom out of sight.

You were right, Archie did do something stupid. He got the Ghoulie's arrested at the race which caused everyone to rush the crap out of there not wanting to go to jail.

You lay on your bed now tired from the long day but you still couldn't fall asleep too scared about having yet another nightmare about the Black Hood.

You jump slightly as you hear a knock on your window. You hesitantly get out of bed and slowly inch towards your window. You let out a breath of relief as you make it to the window to just see Reggie. You open your window letting the tall boy inside.

"You could have called or texted me." You say as you shut your window

"I know but I like to surprise you." says Reggie with a smirk

You shake your head as you laugh at him before you wrap your arms around the dark haired boy.

"You tired?" questions Reggie as he rubs his hand up and down your back

You nod as you head rests on his chest. Reggie guides you to your back helping you in before he joins you. He wraps his arms around you pulling you closer to him as you cuddle up to his chest. Reggie places a soft kiss on your forehead.

"I love you." You murmur

"I love you too, babe." says Reggie before you fall into a deep sleep

That night you did not get a nightmare.
