Damon Salvatore sits on his couch drinking some bourbon when his phone rings. He quickly answers the call not bothering to check caller id.
"Hello Damon Salvatore speaking." says Damon with his usual smirk on his face
"Damon Salvatore, you're listed as Y/N Y/L/N's emergency contact. We have some bad news." says the woman on the other line
While Damon's stomach and smirk drop at the mention of bad news and your name. You are Damon's fiancée.
"She....she just arrived at the hospital with a knife in her heart. Y/N didn't make it. I'm very sorry." says the woman sympathy clear in her voice
Damon's heartbreaks in that moment as tears prick his eyes. He wouldn't believe the love of his life is gone. Out of anger, Damon throws his phone at the wall hard breaking it. Damon sinks to the floor tears falling down his face.
"She's....she's gone." is all that Damon can get out before he breaks down
