Matt Donovan decided to leave Mystic Falls for you. You left for college out of state six months ago. You got into Stanford. You are Matt's girlfriend, but things have been a little hard because of the long distance. Matt was tired of the supernatural drama and if he was honest, he just wants to be with you. So he left and decided to drive all the way to California.
You sat on your dorm bed sort of sad since Christmas is coming up and Matt isn't here nor are any of your friends from Mystic Fall, Virginia. Mainly you are sad that Matt isn't here since he is boyfriend and you love him. Plus you haven't seen him for a while now. You have friends here but they aren't as close to you as your high school friends. You groan as you hear a knock on your room thinking it was your room who again forgot her key.
"V, you need to remember-Matt!" You say once you realize it's Matt after you opened the door
"Matt!" You squeal happily as you pull Matt into a hug
"Hey, princess." says Matt as he happily tightly hugs you back
"What are you doing here? Not that I'm not happy to see you." You ask as you guys pull away a little to look into each other eyes
"I just missed you a lot." answers Matt with a small smile
You grin up at him before you crash your lips on his.
"How long are you staying?" You ask as you guys lean your foreheads against each other's
"For as long as you are here." answers Matt with a nervous grin
"Elena sort of compelled me a spot here." adds Matt shyly
"I thought you hated using vampire powers?" You question with a raised brow
"I do, but if it means I get to be with you then.....I guess it isn't so bad." says Matt with a small smile
"That means we get to spend Christmas together!" You squeal happily making Matt laugh
"Yes, babe, we do." says Matt smiling largely before you lean up and quickly kiss his lips
"I love you." You say
"I love you too." says Matt as he softly caresses your cheek
Matt grins largely before he presses his lips to yours. Happy to be away from the supernatural drama and to just be with you the girl he loves.

Forever wishing Matt got a better ending. Anyways I always forgot the Riverdale kids are supposed to be sophomores, so Betty's dance was really really inappropriate.
