The Story of Us-Cody Chrisitan

    Mostly everyone goes into a relationship with good intentions. They like the person they want to be with that person and hopefully, they will fall in love. Nobody thinks about the other outcome the crash and the burn part. They focus on the positive what if's. The happy parts like soft kisses, dates, and cuddles. You and Cody started out like that but ended with a crash and the both of you burnt.

Cody and you's relationship starts with the very cliche best friends turned lovers. Very Nicholas Sparks of you two. You met when you were both in diapers.

     You walked into preschool the first day a little nervous to be away from your parents for a long time. You stand down at one of the tables that the teacher guided you to. You looked to see you are next to a brown-haired boy who is coloring a blue dinosaur. You grab the crayon out that your parents pack you and decided to start drawing a house on the paper in front of you.

    Cody looked at you as you sat down and even little him thought you were pretty. But his attention soon went to the crayon in front of you since you had more colors than him. Cody poked you causing you to turn to him.

"Can I borrow a crayon?" asked Cody

"Sure, which one?" You replied with a smile

"The purple one." answered Cody and you grabbed the purple one before you handed it over

"Do you want to be best friends?" asks Cody with a nervous smile

"Sure!" You answer excited not feeling as scared anymore to not be with your parents

    Cody and you's preschool days were fun. Coloring together, having snack time together, recess together, and talking during nap time. Things didn't change much in elementary school the two of you were still inseparable and went to the same one. You still had playdates after school together and played during recess. Middle school is when things changed a little but not by much.

     Dating came into the picture of course at this age. Most of your friends then thought Cody and you should get together. You didn't agree with them because back then you were in denial about having feelings for your best friend. Both you and Cody then hadn't been in a relationship yet or your first date yet. By this time, Cody also hadn't admitted his feelings for you to himself or anyone else, but then Garrett Picker came along. Garrett Picker, the first guy to ask you out.

"So you are going on a date with Garrett?" asked Cody as the two of you walk home together

"Yeah, I'm really excited." You answered with a smile

Cody nodded as he felt a little bit of jealousy bubble up inside him. He wasn't at all happy with the fact you are going on a date with Garrett.

"I'm happy for you, Y/N." lied Cody putting a fake smile on his face

"Thanks, Cody. I hope everything goes well." You said

"Yeah so do I." again lied Cody feeling like he wanted to vomit at the thought of you two together romantically

Cody laid in his bed thinking about Garrett and you.

Why does Y/N want to go out with that tool anyway? Garett has nothing going for him at all between his douche personality and Justin Bieber haircut. Thought Cody

I wish it me going on the date with her. Thought Cody letting himself admit he had feelings for you

Cody didn't have to bare through the pain of seeing you and Garrett for long because like most middle school relationships, yours ended after three weekends of hand holding.
