You smile as you prepare for Hanukkah that is tomorrow. You wanted it to be perfect. It will be the first time you are hosting Hanukkah and the first time your parents will meet your boyfriend, Cody Christian. You really hope everything goes well. You love Cody and you are hopeful your parents will too. I mean how could they not like him? He's the sweetest and most adorable guy in the whole entire world. You swear his smile lights up the whole world.

You pull out the traditional beautiful new menorah you bought just for today setting it out. You start to place the new candle you got into their slots when someone ringing your doorbell interrupts your movements. You rush to the door and smile once you see its Cody. You open the door to see him smiling largely.

"Hey, babe." says Cody as he walks in

Cody and you met on the set of Teen Wolf. You were one of the writers for the show. Cody ended up asking you out while they shot season
5. The date ended up going well, of course, and the two of have together ever since.

"Hey." You say smiling as you lean up to softly kiss his lips

"So what's up?" asks Cody noticing the few boxes on the ground that you brought up from the garage

"Just setting up for tomorrow." You answer

"You are still coming right?" You ask just wanting to make sure everything was stilling going as planned

"Of course, I wouldn't miss it for the world." answers Cody who knows how important tomorrow is for you as he moves to cradle your face in his hands

You smile before Cody leans down and captures your lips with his.

"I love you." says Cody as he leans his forehead against yours

"I love you too." You say with a grin

Cody ended up staying the night at your house with you. Cody actually sleeps over at your house often so he has some clothes here for tomorrow.

Cody walks up to hearing the oven being closed and then a loud thump. Sleepily Cody makes his way out of bed.

"Babe? What are you doing?" questions Cody, as he rubs his eyes while you run around the kitchen like a madman

"Babe?" says Cody trying to get you to stop as he makes his way towards you

"Just doing some last minute preparations." You answer as you set some food out on your dining room table

"Y/N come back to bed. Your family won't be here until two, there's plenty of time to get ready." says Cody trying to convince you to come cuddle with him some more

"I know, but I want everything to be perfect." You say

Besides the fact that your parents are meeting Cody, you also want to show them that you are an adult now. That you have your life together. So having everything set up before they arrive and making everything as perfect so you can hopefully show them that.

Cody sighs as he realizes there is no way now that you are coming back to bed.

"Okay, but at least let me help you." says Cody grabbing a bowl full of cookies placing it on the dining room table

"I'm nervous." you say as you hold Cody's hand while standing in your living room waiting for your parents to show

"Me too." says Cody, who is really nervous to meet your family since he really wants them to like you
