After many, many months of Ashton being gone and you being upset because he hasn't been there and been able to contact you much, he is finally coming home soon. You were getting really excited and as the closer it got to it, the happier you got. 

Your friends noticed your change in mood and how happy you were getting and they knew that he was coming home soon. They have been helping the whole time, making you happy and taking care of you, so you don't get so depressed and do something you may regret. They know how upset you can get because of him leaving, but they know how to cheer you up.

You were out with your friends one day at the mall, getting new clothes and just having a laugh with each other.

As you were walking out of New Look, you felt your phone start to vibrate within your purse, so you stopped to get it out and tod your friends to walk ahead as you answered it.

"Hello?" you said as you clicked the answer button.

"Hey baby," you hear the voice of your angel say down the phone and your face immediately broke out into a smile.

"I miss you," you said to him and you heard him sigh down the phone.

"I miss you too, Kayleen. So much," he said and you could hear the sadness in his voice. 

"Only 2 more days," you said, trying to lighten the mood between the two of you on the phone.

"About that..." he trailed off and you felt your heart drop. This can't be good. "They aren't letting me go home yet," he said. 

"What? Why?" you asked and you felt your voice crack, signalling tears are going to be coming soon.

"I am really sorry Kayleen, but they want me to stay and record some stuff before going back home," he said.

"Okay. I guess I'll leave you to it then," you told him then hung up the phone.

You walked over to your friends who were waiting for you over by the food court. They saw that you were upset and quickly ran over to you and asked you what's wrong.

"He's not coming home, is he?" one of them asked and you sadly shook your head no.

"I'm sorry, but I think I'm gunna go home now," you told them and they all said okay and you walked to your car. You got in and turned the radio on and drove home. 

After about 10 minutes of driving, you were home. You turned the car off and walked into your house. When you had taken your shoes off, you walked into the living room you had a massive heart attack and felt as if you had just jumped out of your skin. You saw someone sitting on the couch with their back to you. Soon the person turned around and you realised who it was. 

"Ash!" you shouted as you dropped the bags and he stood up and you ran into his arms with the biggest smile on your face. "Why did you say you weren't coming home yet?" 

 "I wanted to surprise me beautiful girlfriend. Is that a crime?" he asked in a playful tone and he pulled back and looked you in the eyes. "I love you Kayleen."

"I love you too Ashton," you replied and he leaned in and pressed his lips onto yours and the familiar butterflies were flying around in your stomach.

For the rest of the day, you cuddled up on the couch, saying 'I love you's' and giving each other kisses. It couldn't be better than that.
