(Otto x Olympia)
Olive and Otis had already rushed out of the office, Olympia and Otto going in a completely different direction. Their job was to locate a flying goldfish, only the fish was unusual, being the color white with black and orange speckles all over.
"Okay, so the first part of the instructions say to take as many paces, as the total number of fingers and toes you have all together," Otto informed Olympia as they walked up to the first landmark, which was a grand oak tree.
"Okay." Olympia tapped up the larger screen on her fancy, red watch. Soon images were appearing that made counting easier. "So, we know that we have 5 fingers on each hand, which all together would make... 10! And we also have 5 toes on each foot, which also make up 10, so if we add the two totals together, then that's 20!" She grinned widely before putting her watch back to its normal, smaller size.
"Okay, 1, 2..." Otto began counting the paces they took side by side.
*A Jackalope says, "A little while later..." *
"20," Otto finally finished. He looked around for a moment or two, Olympia doing the same. "I don't see anything, here..." The last word of his was dragged out, as a portal opened up beneath him.
"Otto!" Olympia followed right behind, both of them plummeting straight down through a tube of swirly, blue light.
When they landed they were underwater, only somehow they could breath, and talk.
"Olympia," Otto asked, bubbles coming from his mouth, and his voice wavering a bit.
Olympia's voice sounded the same when she went to speak. "I thought we were looking for a flying goldfish, not a swimming one!"
"I don't know!" Otto was a bit distraught as they studied the underwater world, the sun making everything shimmer.
"Look!" Olympia pointed to a goldfish family of three nearby in front of them.
There were two, bigger, orange goldfish, and then there was...
"There it is!" Olympia was jumping in joy, her moving in slow motion in the water.
Apparently the the bigger goldfish were the king and queen of flying goldfish, and they were all born, and raised underwater at first. The goldfish that they needed was a young prince, but he was determined to help Odd Squad, since it was his dream ever since he was born. He got tired of the bad name of flying goldfish only being nuisances, that the squad had to round up. Now, it was the first day he was allowed to be above water. Olympia was excited out of her mind to show him the outside world.
Soon her and Otto were back on the ground in the normal world, the young prince flying above them, swishing his tail back and forth behind him. Flying goldfish had excellent tracking skills, so he was able to head back to headquarters, while they grabbed one last thing real quick.
"The last thing we need is... food! I knew this case was special," Otto commented, nodding his head with a happy/smug smile, and his arms crossed.
Olympia smiled some herself before asking, "What kind of food?"
"Pineapples," Otto confirmed, leading the way through the tubes.
Soon they were in Hawaii, and Olympia couldn't help but smile widely at the hot sun, and gentle breeze.
"We're in Hawaii?!" Her mouth could barely stretch upwards any more.
"Yeah, here's our pineapple," Otto confirmed, picking up the fruit they needed from a plant on the ground nearby.
