I shot up in my bed. I touched my chest, feelin my heart beat. I blew a breath out of relief. I'm alive. It was just a nightmare.

I felt around the bed and felt Jahseh's arm. "Jah. Wake up." I pushed him gently.

He opened his eyes and stared at me. "What?" He said in his raspy voice.

A tear ran down my face. That was by far the worst nightmare I've ever had. I couldn't imagine losing Jahseh or Jamal.

"Baby? What's wrong?" He sat up and wiped my tear with his thumb.

"N-Nothing.." I sniffled.

"Is this about the post? Because I swear I didn't cheat. I would never hurt you like that again." He kissed my forehead.

"I know." I hugged him tightly.

"So what's wrong?" He lifted me onto his lap.

"I-I just had a dream. A bad dream." I laid my head on his shoulder.

"Do you wanna talk about it?" He asked rubbing my back.

I shook my head no. "What time is it?"

"11:30."

"You didn't go to the party?" I asked furrowing My eyebrows.

"That chick in the picture caught up to me before I left to the party, so she was a fan, but then I guess someone saw the picture, and thought wrong. They posted that shit and I knew you saw it so I just grabbed my shit and rode with Craig."

"Oh.."

"I only love you. You need to understand that, ma."

I pecked his lips and laid my head on his chest. "Where's Jamal?" I asked as he pulled the covers up.

"He's in the crib over there." He pointed to the one we have in our room.

I saw him sleeping peacefully.

"Let's go back to sleep. C'mon." He pulled me under the covers with him.

I closed my eyes and fell asleep to the sound of his beating heart.

"Wake her up Jamal." Jahseh said laughing.

I rubbed my eyes as I heard Jamal babble in my ear. "Boy whatchu doin'." I asked giggling since he was playing with my hair.

"Wake up momma, I gotchu something." He held a box.

I took it from his hand and opened it. It was a silver necklace that had an X.

"Oh my god." I picked it out of the box and admired it.

"You like it?" He laughed at my reaction.
