"Baby." I felt someone shake me.
"Mmm?" I groaned turning on the couch.
"Kila, wake up." He shook me again.
"Momma!" I heard Jamal yelled from beside me, smacking my head lightly.
I sat up and rubbed my eyes. "W-What?" I looked around, my eyes still blurry. "Is it Jamal?" I said as covered myself with the blanket.
He shook his head no, ruffling Jamal's messy hair."Baby, I'm leaving in 30 minutes."
I looked up at him, squinting my eyes. "What?"
"I'm leaving for tour in 30 minutes."
I slipped on my clothes. "Already?" I looked at my phone.
4: 00 a.m.
I sighed and laid back on the couch. "I'm sad now."
He chuckled and crouched down beside the couch.

I could feel tears swelling up in my eyes as the thought of him being gone crossed my mind.
"Aw, don't cry shawty." He sat on the couch and pulling me into a hug.
I sniffled and wiped the tears away. "It's just all sudden, you know?"
Jamal climbed onto the couch and jumped onto us. "Momma, Dada." He whispered as he embraced us.
I held his face and kissed him on his forehead. "Baby boy, daddy has to go away for a while Okay?" I said holding his face in my hands so I kept his attention.
He just smiled and jumped onto Jah and wrapped his arms around his neck. "Dada!"
"Munch, sit down, can you listen to me please?" Jah told him. I smiled at the nickname.
Jamal sat down on his lap, still babbling.
"I'm leaving for a while. You won't see me for a long time okay? Momma's gonna call me if you want to see me, okay?"
Jamal nodded.
"Okay?" Jah repeated.
"Otay." Jamal followed.
I motioned for Jamal to come to me and he jumped into my arms as Jahseh stood up. "Munch?"
"C'mon, we all know Jit's finna be short as hell. I'm short, you're short. He's a little munchkin."
I giggled shaking my head.
"Okay, I got my shit packed. I got my phone, I got my charger." He said feeling in his pockets. "I'm all set..they should be pulling up in about 24 minutes."
