I woke up and felt around the bed. Normally Jahseh would be right next to me. I didn't feel him..
I opened my eyes and looked around. He was no where.
"STOKELEY!!!" I called out. I heard his footsteps run up the stairs.
"O-Oh you're awake." He scratched his neck.
"Yea I'm awake. Where's jah?" I rubbed my eyes.
"Okay, Uh, don't freak out." He said with his hands outstretched.
"Stokeley where the fuck is Jah!?" I raised my voice.
"Policetookhimaway." He quickly said.
"What??"
"I said police....took....him...away...." He lowly responded.
"What the fuck do you mean the police took him away?!? He's in jail!?! Fuck!!" I quickly slipped on my shoes and jacket. I can't believe this.
"You can't do anything about it anymore, kilani." He said grabbing my arm.
"Why are you barely telling me?! How come they just randomly took him?? Oh my fucking god!!"
"Look at me. Calm down. Breathe."
"I'm fucking breathing now answer my fucking questions bruh!" I yelled.
"Jahseh didn't want you to stress over anything. They didn't randomly take him. He knew that today was the day."
"Why didn't he tell me??" I yelled.
"He told me he wanted a normal night with you."
"That makes absolute no sense. I'm carrying his kid. He should've at least informed me was getting arrested."
"Relax on the guy!"
"Don't fucking tell me to fucking relax you fucking piece of shit!" I spat.
"Listen to me. This was gonna happen anyway. It sounds bad but I'm sorry. He didn't want to be taken away with you having the stress knowing that he was gonna be gone. Soo... he spent a day with you to make sure he had a good goodbye."
"Fuck.." I mumbled. "This is crazy. What the fuck am I supposed to do? I am a month and a half pregnant." I dragged my hand down my face.
"Imma take care of you. I promised Jahseh. Now come on, I made breakfast."
Imma make a giant ass time skip cause I is lazy.

"Jah said he wanna see you today." Stoke said closing the car door.
"Nigga so we NOT going to buy more pickles??"
"No. That shit gross as fuck. Who the hell eats pickles with peanut butter and ice cream." He scrunched up his face in disgust as he pulled off.
