Spinel recently watched 'IT' and was intrigued to see humans are terrified of it. And then when she made you watch the movie, your heart practically jumped out and said "bye bitch." then went to heaven.

Spinel was worried at your sudden scream from a jumpscare and in that situation. She thought of a perfect plan to scare you.

You were watching some show on netfilx and you suddenly got thirsty. You stood up and went to the kitchen to grab some water or maybe sprite.

Unknowingly, a certain gem is slowly creeping up behind you with a wide grin on their face. You gulped down on your beverage and sighed contently, you saw a shadow covering the ceiling light.

You gulped and gripped your glass tightly. You slowly turned around, expecting to see something horrendous and horrifying but. . .

"Do you want a balloon, doll?"

Spinel said as she tries to sound scary while holding out a red balloon. She got the costume and the makeup, hell she looks amazing even if she looks like a clown (she is).

You smiled warmly, "No. I'll be taking you instead." you grabbed Spinel's arm and pulled her into a hug.

"Wha-! Hey! I was supposed to scare you!" she tried to get out of your hug but you don't wanna let her go. "Nah, you're just too cute to be scary." as you said that Spinel turned deep pink and slight whimpered.

"What's wrong?" you asked but Spinel shook her head and hugged back. "Say spins, you want some candy?" Spinel slightly pulled away from the hug to look at you and smiled.

"That would be nice." you abruptly stood up and went to the counter where the candies are. You turned the bowl over and showered Spinel with candies.

"What the heck?" she grabbed one of the candy, opened the wrapper and ate it. "What can I say? You're just too sweet!" Spinel looked at you with a blank face as she continued to eat her candies.

"What? It's good!" Spinel shook her head but slightly giggled at your bad puns. "Y/n do you hear that?" you hummed, "Hear what?"

"A beeping noise." beeping? Beep— crap the cookies! You stood up and ran over to the oven, you wore one of the mittens and opened the door, you used your hand with a mitten and grabbed the tray of cookies you made.

You closed the oven door, removed the mitten and looked at your cookie. Little dark brown but still looks fine, you guess. You took one of the cookies, you slowly took a bit of it.

As expected, it's hard, so you have to pressure your teeth to sink it in the cookie. As you finally took off a piece, you chewed softly which slowly became a medium pace.

Not bad.

"Hey toots, so what was all that beepin'?" Spinel then walked over to the counter and looked at the almost-burnt cookies.

"You want some?" you expect Spinel would decline but nope! She grabbed one of the cookie and took a bite off of it with ease. As she chewed, her eyes sparkled and gave you the widest smile you've ever seen.

"You. . . Like it?" Spinel nods vigorously and proceeds to eat another. Then a yell came from behind you, "What the hell did you burn this time?!" your friend screamed at your ear, you covered it and smacked them on the shoulder.

"Jesus no need to shout. And I didn't burn them, they're slightly overbaked." your friend raised their eyebrows at you and shook their head. 

"Want some?" Spinel offered to your friend, they politely declined and noticed a box of donuts in the corner.

"Do you want some donuts Spinel?" they asked, "How bout I take everything including your hearts?" you and your friend's eyes widen and silence swallowed them.

Spinel looked at the two humans, worried about their sudden silence. Your friend grabbed the box of donuts, pushed it in front of her and patted her head then walked away.

While you on the other hand, you were on the ground, silently screaming (not really) with a deep blush on your face. "H-hey toots..? Are you okay?" Spinel kneeled down to your height and patted your back in case you need some comfort.

You slowly nodded and suddenly hugged Spinel tightly, this caught the gem off guard but hugged back otherwise. You sniffled and little tears fell down, this alarmed Spinel and she slightly pulled away.

"Why are you crying doll? Did I do something wrong?" you shook your head and wiped your tears then smiled. "Be my guest." at first Spinel didn't get what you meant by that and a few seconds later, she smiled widely.

"Thank you doll." you felt her grip your shirt but you don't mind, since you felt her tears fall onto your shirt. You rubbed her head softly as she sniffled and tried to calm herself down. She doesn't want to have a breakdown in front of you but it's too late.

"Spinel." the gem pulled away from the hug, you tried to hold your laughter. Spinel's makeup is ruined due from the tears though you shouldn't be laughing that this.

You grabbed the wipes on the counter and wiped her face to remove all of the makeup. As you were done, you threw away the used wipes and smiled at Spinel.

"Thank you for loving me doll."
