After Spinel almost destroyed earth, Steven left him on his pre state. Steven wouldn't bother bring the current Spinel who tired to murder everybody back, since he thought it'll end bad.

Now, he lives with you since he has no other place to be and he doesn't want to be in little homeschool because he's grown attached to you while the world is burning to the ground.

You were sleeping humbly in your bed as you hugged Spinel—moreover you thought it was him. You felt a tap on your shoulder but you shrugged it off then the taps became nudges.

You're fully awake by this, you looked down at your arms and you're hugging a pillow. You turned to your side, you blinked many times to make your eyes adjust to the dark.

As you finally adjusted, it's Spinel with his silly smile on. "Good morning!" he said cheerfully. You shifted to the nightstand and grabbed your phone, the light almost blinded you.

"Spinel," you turned off your phone and pinched the bridge of your nose "it's 3 in the morning."

"Yeah, that why I said good morning!" he tackled you which made you fall on the cushions. You sighed and hugged the male gem as your eyes started to grow heavy, eventually you fell asleep once again.

Though. . . That's not the case tonight.

"Can we eat donuts for breakfast?"
