" steven, how am i supposed use this gizmo thing...? "

spinel asked to the hybrid boy, she showed the phone at him which he reluctantly grinned. "it's easy, see all those apps?"

spinel looked down at the screen "you mean the boxes?" steven nodded "then what's the red thing over a speech bubble?"

steven hummed, he walked beside spinel and looked down. he snapped his finger "that means you have a message, you already have our numbers?"

spinel looked at him with pure confusion. "i just opened this thing 15 minutes ago and this thing appeared out of nowhere." steven shrugged "well, open it."

the pink gem pursed her lips, unsure if she should but she doesn't see any harm so she tapped the messages and a number is at the very top.

"it says 'hi'." spinel said as she tapped the number and the keyboard popped up. "talk to them, if they ask a name you don't knoe, tell them they got the wrong number. anyways, i have go." steven said then he headed out of the beach house, leaving spinel in the leaving room.

"okay..." she muttered, she sat back down at the couch and started typing back to the stranger.

spinel chuckled, were they expecting she wouldn't?

'well, a random number just popped up in my phone. how can i resist?'

it's been weeks, 5 to exact since spinel and the unknown number started talking. the two of them have alot to talk about, alot in common, spinel stayed up all night to talk to them but they had to sleep since she figured they're human.

right now, the two of them planned out a meeting tonight to finally see each other's faces. it's nerve wracking for the gem.

what if she didn't meet the expectation of the person?
what if they'd leave and cut off their friendship because she's incompetent..?
