synopsis:
you and spinel are princess, both of your kingdoms are in a meeting for alliances.

" king (f/n). "

he said as he bowed down at the presence of another king in front of him, spinel bowed for but only for a moment. her eyes immediately landed on you, beside your father.

"king (random name) it is a pleasure and honor to finally see you in the flesh."

"the pleasure is all mine. i am accompanied by my daughter, spinel, is that alright?"

"yes yes, my little y/n can have some company while we discuss important subjects. please, come inside." the great kingdom doors opened by the guard and the king with his princess entered ahead while the others stayed behind their tail.

spinel kept looking at you, you tried not to look back at her as that might spark controversies especially in front of your father and hers.

as they finally reached the meeting room, your father turned to look at you. "behave around princess spinel, y/n. treat her with loyalty and she might as well return the favor." you nodded at the king's orders.

your father nodded back, he turned to look at the other king. "well, let's go now. have fun girls but not too much fun." the doors opened, letting the two kings enter and left the two princesses alone.

you and spinel looked at each other at the corner of their eyes "s- shall we?" spinel finally said. "yes yes. let us go down to the village." you said as you started to walk ahead of spinel.

spinel followed suit, as the two of you turned to a corner both of you let out a big sigh of relief.
the two of you have been in a relationship for awhile now.

the first day you two met is when you were scavenging alone down the town's market and then you were somehow got tagged along with a chase with a stranger, spinel.

as the two of you ran from the authorities, you asked who were they and as they lowered their cloak, you instantly recognize the runaway princess from the other kingdom.

since then, you two have been passing letters after letters via crow. it maybe take a few days time but it was worth it, you managed to convince spinel to return to her kingdom and here you are now.

"your acting sucks." spinel chuckled, you scoffed and crossed your arms as you leaned against the wall. "yours too, good thing nobody noticed."

"so 'little y/n' how's life here?" spinel walked closer to you and softly grabbed a fistful of your hair. "don't call me that." you lightly slapped her hand away.

she giggled then she, out of the blue, hugged you. you yelped as this caught you off guard but you relaxed and hugged her back.

"i missed you." she mumbled, you patted her head softly and kissed her head. "i missed you too, hey."
spinel looked up to you "what?"

"what if we tell them that we're together?" spinel frowned then shook her head "no, they'll set us apart."
"or this could strengthen the alliance."

"or it'll wage a war. i don't want a war to start because of us."

you sighed "so you're okay with this...?" spinel lightly nodded "yes, what. aren't you satisfied?" you backed up and held spinel's shoulders to look at in the eyes.

"yes, i'm satisfied." then spinel leaned close to kiss your lips, you closed your eyes and kissed back. you held her waist, she leaned her body closer to yours with her arms wrapped around your neck.

"i love you." you whispered as the two of you pulled away.

"i love you too."
