so fusion.
everyone has done that at some point of their lives, gems to gems or gems to humans. it's the new norm.

tapping her foot on the green grass, letting her dark pink pigtails wave along the dancing flowers from the winds. her mind is deeply in thought that she didn't notice the certain fusion sat beside her.

"need advice?" garnet said which snapped spinel back to reality, she yelped and fell to the ground. "don't sneak up on me like that." the pink gem said as she stood up and sitting down again.

"i just don't want to wreak your train of thoughts." garnet lightly chuckled, "how long have you and y/n been together, us everything good?" the fusion asked.

spinel leaned against the wooden exterior of the barn "we're doing good and we've been for almost a year. it's our... anniversary today." spinel said as she looked down at the wavy grass.

"yet you sound sad, why?" spinel groaned and sighed. "i don't really have anything to give and... i've been thinking of... fusing with y/n." the pink gem admitted.

garnet leaned against the barn also and looked up the blue sky with it's clouds floating by "you should go on ahead, there's no barrier between you and y/n that is severing or meddling your bond with her."

"yeah but i haven't done this type of thing with her or anyone at all. how do you think i'm gonna be a 'natural' at this?"
then garnet placed her hand on top of spinel's head.

"you're going to do just fine, follow what your heart says not the brain this time." then she stood up from the haystack you two were sitting on, spinel watched as the fusion walk away and disappear.

sighing, she looked up at the blue sky. mustering up all the courage she has, she stood up from the hay and started confidentially strutting down the hill while thinking of a perfect dinner.

in the distance, peridot and lapis watched spinel march away like a soldier with a plank taped on her legs. "what is she doing." peridot said as she tore her eyes away for a second.

lapis just shrugged and continued to watch their show.

as night came, you got a letter from spinel saying to meet her in the beach. you didn't dress up for the occasion since you thought the two of you will be sharing a quite moment together by the shore with small waves of cold sea water hit your feet.
